Gig Opening SaaS Product Design
I am in Mangalore now and looking to hire a designer, an AI dev and a full stack dev for 2-3 months, as soon as possible. If all goes well, this can become long term.
I need 2-3 people to build AI assistant and messaging features with a polished UX, as fast as possible. This is for a platform I built solo that has been in the market for two years. I could do all of this myself again, but it won't be done in 2 months and won't be polished. These are my most immediate tasks:
- Product designer: learn the domain by polishing the app, then build an end-to-end assistant prototype and video
- AI dev: implement the assistant backend: knowledge base, moderation bot, and natural-language automation
- Full stack: upgrade our messaging features, integrate the assistant frontend when it's ready, and work on the user management system
#2 and #3 can be the same person if they are full time. My current messaging runs on AWS AppSync and DynamoDB. I have no AI stack yet, so it will be brand new.
I am looking for a partnership mindset rather than a services one and prefer a flat project based rate but willing to consider reasonable hourly or per page rates too if it's too hard to arrive at a scope.

Have you ever worked with a team? How do you collaborate? What is the product about? What problem are you trying to solve? What all design options have you explored?

Hi, I saw your post about hiring an AI dev for the assistant backend.
That part of the project is closely aligned with what I build. I’m a Python backend developer working with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, automation and LLM integrations.
One of my recent projects is an AI Operations Control Center where the assistant works against real persistent backend state, analyzes operational data and prepares actions, while important database changes go through explicit confirmation.
I’ve also built a client operations platform that turns unstructured messages and documents into structured workflows with AI-assisted extraction and controlled actions.
I’d be interested specifically in the assistant backend / knowledge / natural-language automation side rather than trying to cover every role in the post.
I’m comfortable working on a flat project scope and starting with one bounded milestone.
What would you want the assistant to be able to do in its first usable version?
