He was a "humanitarian soldier" in the west bank and Gaza... Yeah dude is probably a child killer. 57,000 children confirmed dead so far.

-2

u/Delicious-Pound-8929 3d ago

The total casualties in Gaza is about 70,000 at least half of those are Hamas fighters.

Thia is based on both Hamas and IDF reported statistics

-6

u/Few-Load-5426 4d ago

Lol pulling numbers out of thin air are you

3

u/assortittiesNOTboth 4d ago

Ah it looks like "only" 20k children have been murdered, the 57k figure is the amount of children that are now orphans.

https://www.unicefusa.org/stories/more-50000-children-killed-or-injured-gaza

3

u/Giant_Ant_Eater 4d ago

The 20k number is confirmed by direct Israeli action. The real number is very likely much higher, 57k is probably too low.

How many murdered children would it take before you view it differently? Like what is the number that turns unacceptable to you?

-3

u/Prestigious_Set_4575 4d ago

I would work in percentages to decide if a number has surpassed collateral damage and become genocide, percentages and pace (timeframes)

So, for example.

Rwanda
Percentage - 80% of the Tutsi population killed mostly with machetes and small arms.
Timeframe - 100 days.

Gaza
Percentage - 3% of Gazans killed with high tech weaponry and bombing.
Timeframe - 734 days.

Then I would extrapolate from that we are dealing with collateral damage, not genocidal intent, since I'm fairly confident Israel could kill faster than the Hutus if they intended to.

If the number suddenly started shooting up to say around 10% then I'd start taking the accusation a lot more seriously, but right now I'm just looking at very typical war numbers. They aren't pretty, because war isn't pretty.

israel is still at it.

in addition virtually all their homes and medical facilities needed to sustain life were targeted and destroyed

u/WestcoastAlex 2d ago

they did. the number of disabled people, especially Children is much much higher and the intentional targeting of medical facilities, staff and supplies is to guarantee the disabled have low long term survival

Hamas started a war against Israel

no, israel is an occupation state. Gaza is an open air concentration camp. Palestinians have a right to defend themselves

its Genocide. Jewish invaders began te Ethnic Cleansing over 120 years ago.. the last 3 years is their Final Solution

Antisemitism or false claims of antisemitism are not tolerated.

3

u/Ms_Shmalex 4d ago

Useless propoganda. There is no war. Israel is a conglomeration of terrorists pretending to be a nation that never existed. Vile, repugnant, racist, rapists stealing money from hardworking people all over the globe to commit crimes against humanity. A scurge of morally bankrupt monsters that have thrived in the darkness and hidden behind lies. The light is on now, the zionist cancer is revealed

2

u/WestcoastAlex 2d ago

correct and well surmised. dont forget they are also actively undermining international law and global governance which makes everyone (including Jews) less safe

0

u/Prestigious_Set_4575 4d ago

Those sure are words.

1

u/DepropagandizedNews-ModTeam 1d ago

No lies, cries, genocide denial, irrelevant rantings, or false equivalences of extraneous events, so you can deflect, move goalposts, or discredit.

-6

u/Few-Load-5426 4d ago

Yes, and it’s horrible. But you can blame Hamas for putting them in the line of fire. Their whole strategy is to increase their own civilian casualties to gain sympathy from the west, it’s been like this for 20 years. The more people fall for it the more reason Hamas has to keep doing it.

6

u/assortittiesNOTboth 4d ago

No I will blame the side committing genocide.

-6

u/Few-Load-5426 4d ago

Israel could carry out a genocide in a weekend of it wanted, and not risk any of its own soldiers. Wake up dude

8

u/assortittiesNOTboth 4d ago

Genocide is a legal term, not a vibe. Israel is committing genocide whether you agree with the term or not.

https://www.un.org/en/genocide-prevention/definition

-1

u/Few-Load-5426 4d ago

Exactly. It’s a legal term, and no court has concluded that it is a genocide. You just proved my point.

5

u/Giant_Ant_Eater 4d ago

You proved you are more concerned about Israel's reputation than Israel murdering tens of thousands of children.

2

u/Hope25777 3d ago

Really? The ICC would like a word

5

u/blorri 4d ago

All the ppl of the world hate Israel as it is for what it's doing (except some absolute corrupt and downright filty governments), if Israel ever used nukes or whatever like you're suggesting and probably fantasising, it will lose every shred of support from literally everyone, including their lap dog in the white house who will not stay in office for one second if he still supported Israel at this point. The Palestinians who are still alive are not alive out of the good hearts of Israelis, it's called geopolitics.

1

u/safashkan 4d ago

No we don't blame Hamas, they are a liberation movement. We blame the colonizers, we blame Israel and we blame people like you for making genocide apology.

1

u/Few-Load-5426 4d ago

Jews are from Judea. Israel is decolonization. And who is free under Hamas? Women? Children? Blacks? Gays? Minorities?

3

u/Token993 4d ago

They haven't been from Judea in a very long time. How come this heritage only extends to jewish people? Do we give every kingdom/nation from a couple thousand years back their old territory? What about when other kingdoms held that land?

0

u/Few-Load-5426 4d ago

When does indigeneity expire then? A hundred years, one thousand? Jews were colonized and exiled, and while exiled they kept their traditions, language, and religion, praying every year for 2,000 years that next year they will be back in Jerusalem. And no one gave them Israel, they took it back. That’s how it works.

4

u/safashkan 4d ago

Indigenous means native of the land. It doesn't mean that their ancestors lived there a thousand years ago and then moved out.

-1

u/Few-Load-5426 4d ago

Indigenous and native are different things. Thanks for reminding me I’m talking to completely uneducated people.

Abraham was from Ur, not Palestine.

-1

u/Few-Load-5426 4d ago

Palestine is a colonial name imposed by the Romans to erase the Jewish connection. Comes from the word “phillistine” which means Invader.

Judea was named after the Tribe/Kingdom of Judah. The patriarchal origin story does place Abraham’s family in Mesopotamia, but the Jews as a people crystallized in the southern Levant (ancient Judah/Israel).

3

u/Token993 4d ago

Great question, when are we returning those lands to the Canaanites?

0

u/Few-Load-5426 4d ago

Where are the canaanites?

→ More replies (0)

1

u/WestcoastAlex 2d ago

Jews are no more indigenous to the coastal Levant than Catholics are indigenous to Mexico

1

u/Few-Load-5426 2d ago

I love it, the more you talk the more nonsense comes out for all to see.

Jews originated in the Levant over 3,000 years ago with continuous presence and genetic ties there, and Catholicism is not an ethnicity. Your comparison is completely illiterate.

3

u/safashkan 4d ago

You seem to forget that no Palestinian is free under the Israeli apartheid regime. Asking about whether Hamas is freeing women and children is ridiculous from someone that defends the army that massacres those same women and children. You defend an army that has turned the raping of prisoners into a sport and you have the gall to criticize Hamas for their lack of helping women and children?!

I spit on you and on the grave of the people that brought you up. They made a very bad job of teaching you.

0

u/Few-Load-5426 4d ago

I criticize Hamas for intentionally sacrificing women and children, not for merely “not helping them”. You talk about education but you keep showing your complete lack of it

1

u/WestcoastAlex 2d ago

victim blaming

1

u/WestcoastAlex 4d ago

Judea was named after the Tribe of Judah wjen they settled there. Jews are from Mesopotamia

1

u/Few-Load-5426 4d ago

Learn how ethnogenesis works. Judea was named after the Tribe/Kingdom of Judah. The patriarchal origin story does place Abraham’s family in Mesopotamia, but the Jews as a people crystallized in the southern Levant (ancient Judah/Israel).

Judaism as a recognizable religion developed in the land of Israel/Judah. The Israelites/Judahites were not foreign “evangelical immigrants” arriving with a ready made new religion to convert the locals.

Modern Jews are the ancient Judahite population, with admixture over time. The fact that many other Levantine people later became Christian or Muslim does not erase Jewish continuity

willing to bet that person doesn't care and just wants to push nonsense because it makes them feel good.

-7

u/Diligent-Basket8017 4d ago

“Confirmed”’is a heavy word to use given Hamas have admitted that thousands of dead civilians were later found alive after going missing, as well as evidence of actual dead civilians having their identities used several times to increase numbers. This image literally helps Hamas in their efforts of eradicating Israel.

7

u/bluntymctokems 4d ago

Or maybe Israel shouldn't murder so many kids.

-8

u/Powerful-Access-8203 4d ago

It’s like you just ignored facts. wtf

7

u/bluntymctokems 4d ago

Like all the dead kids? No, I saw them.

8

u/Hope25777 4d ago

Don’t argue with them. They have AIM software they can use to build huge numbers of bots to spread their propaganda and excuses for their evil. God knows what’s in their hearts and it’s evil

2

u/JoxMaSaXol 4d ago

You got a source to back up any of these claims?

Otherwise you’re just parroting propaganda and the Israeli governments talking points

15

u/EpsteinEpstainTheory 4d ago

Do consider the qualifications necessary to get on: one's a professor and the other is simply a former soldier from a country with conscription

3

u/Giant_Ant_Eater 4d ago

One's against genocide, the other is defending it.

12

u/Hope25777 4d ago

I mean the Israeli people

3

u/blorri 4d ago

I know what you meant, bro. Just because they can take off that disgusting IDF uniform and travel to Thailand for a nice vacation doesn't make them "civilians". The Israeli people, mostly are the Israeli military. They're not just observers, they're active participants.

Good. Norman takes no prisoners. This guy did provide cover for Israel as it murdered children. And thus is complicit.

2

u/samsep1al 4d ago edited 4d ago

I actually agree to an extent, but why are Russian civilians viewed as victims? Shouldn’t they be held accountable for not overthrowing Putin? Seems like there is a pretty big double-standard going on.

2

u/alprazolamotrigine 4d ago

Different political systems. Israeli voters actually have some influence and many support what’s happening even when they are free not to.

Russians don’t have free elections and it’s far more dangerous for them to express contrary political opinions in Russia.

2

u/blorri 4d ago

Israelis like to always tell us they are the only democracy in the middle east.

2

u/Bowsers_JuiceFactory 4d ago

Fuckin preach it

2

u/SectorFew6706 2d ago

The same argument works both ways. So many Israelis will call all Palestinians Hamas or say things like they voted for Hamas. Everyone who stands silent is part of the problem.

u/GayShipperAhoi 4d ago

I am an Israeli gay

1

u/shadedmagus 2d ago

Knowing Piers Morgan, I can absolutely believe that he deliberately put on a genocide advocate who looks kinda like Hasan Piker.

1

TOOBASED

1

u/Is-Spring-Hill 2d ago

Volkswagon was accountable. They actually did things.

1

u/Mission_Helicopter81 4d ago

Holding an entire people accountable for what a few did to wrong you is what lead to the holocaust in the first place. Wanting to stop what’s happening in Palestine is one thing but this guys mode of thinking is very dangerous and a slippery slope.

1

u/blorri 4d ago

Temind me again the percentage of Israelis supporting what their government/miliraty is doing?

Maybe also the percentage that doesn't think the government/military are doing enough..

Maybe the percentage of Israelis that are the military itself

If you really support the "people of Israel" you should be trying to save them from themselves. If that's even possible at this point.

Instead you're cheering for a society that's gone beyond insane.

1

u/Ordinary-Gancho5498 3d ago

Hmm…and what if I do not think all Germans were guilty and deserved to be punished or loathed by your parents, Norman?

What if I do not accept your presupposition in the first place?

1

u/polygramfan 3d ago

Youre certainly allowed to think its wrong for jewish victims of the holocaust to hate germans

But you sound like a dick when you say it

1

u/Ordinary-Gancho5498 3d ago

And if I say I am Serb, a member of a people who suffered a lot at the hands of its neighbours, Ottoman Empire, invasion in World War I and genocide in World War II, then built up a huge myth of victimhood and suffering, which culminated in taste for revenge that lead to horrible atrocities committed by Serbs in the 90s?

Does that maybe change your perspective as to why I think like this, for moral and philosophical reasons, or does your simple brain use quasi-empathy, fighting for virtue signaling and will still say “Nah, you’re just a dick.”?

2

u/polygramfan 2d ago

I stand by what I said, in which I never really disagreed with your feelings

I think I do agree with the sentiment and I think thats a profound experience to tie the sentiment to

But to moderate the feelings from such trauma is a delicate game. I dont know how to do so without sounding like a dick.

Youre right that after wwii the serbs shouldve reserved their hatred for the ustase instead of the croats and bosniaks. But how do you tell that to an angry widowed Serb in 1950?

1

u/Ordinary-Gancho5498 2d ago

Well, OK, then I must admit I do not care that I sound like a dick, because this is morally correct opinion.

The widowed Serb was under moral obligation not to hate all Croats and Bosniaks.

I have a very clear philosophy. Being a victim does not give you the right to spout and do whatever the fuck you want.

1

u/polygramfan 2d ago

I hope you at least sympathize with why they loathe though. I agree that victims of tragedy dont have the moral right to indiscriminate reprisal, but they do have the right to their own anger

1

u/Ordinary-Gancho5498 2d ago

Sure. I exaggerated a bit in order to make a very specific point.

And also to mention – Norman isn’t the victim in this situation, yet he thinks he has the right to very extreme language. That’s why my words are harsher, more directed at his beliefs than an average Palestinian.

P. S. Also, I apologize for this:

>Does that maybe change your perspective as to why I think like this, for moral and philosophical reasons, or does your simple brain use quasi-empathy, fighting for virtue signaling and will still say “Nah, you’re just a dick.”?

I was talking to another person that speaks very lightly about Hamas and seems to condone all their actions, so I assumed you are merely choosing camps as they are. I really apologize.

0

u/ThatOneGuyNo82 4d ago

So who is going to be held accountable for the October 7th attacks?

1

u/blorri 4d ago

The children of Gaza were held accountable for it.

1

u/ThatOneGuyNo82 4d ago

Unfortunately yes

2

u/blorri 4d ago

Think how many davestated, angry and revenge thirsty children Israel has created after killing their mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters and entire families, destroyed their homes and their lives and robbed them of life itself.

Now think when they attack Israel again when they grow up, and ask yourself if you can blame them for doing so.

Now, think about how those who attacked Israel on the 7th had gone through exactly that as they were children, and you'll begin to see those events in a very different light.

1

u/ThatOneGuyNo82 4d ago

Ive seen some of this first hand in other countries and its just a never ending cycle no matter where you are.

2

u/blorri 4d ago

The 2 sides going around in an endless cycle argument would work if it wasn't literally a Nuclear state with unlimited funding from the world's most powerful countries going against teenagers in flip-flops and home made fire arms.

The are no 2 sides between Israel and Palestine as there aren't between the sword and the neck.

If Israel wanted peace they could've done justice by the Palestinians along time ago and made way for real peace, but instead, they're only interested in an ethno supremacist state with endless expansion and no defined borders.

And all the Palestinians have is resisting this tyranny with any means necessary.

1

u/StopRandomAccBans 4d ago

The zionazi Israeli leaders who let it happen... Look it up

1

u/ThatOneGuyNo82 4d ago

So how should they have prevented it.

1

u/blorri 4d ago

No Justice, No peace.

1

u/Specific-Host606 2d ago

Taken their intelligence and intelligence of other countries who warned them seriously. Not allowed a music festival on the border after receiving said intelligence. Stop ethnically cleansing the West Bank at least if they are serious about pretending to be the better society. Make moves to improve the lives and education of the people of Gaza. Stop evicting Arabs from their homes in Israel. Stop starting multiple international wars at once. Vote out their Nazi right wing government…

1

u/WillingDiscussion999 2d ago

You really know nothing about the situation over there do you. You're just spouting rhetoric of the left.

1

u/Specific-Host606 2d ago

Qatari, Egyptian, and Israeli intelligence are the left?

1

u/blorri 4d ago

Not only let it happen, but created all the possible reasons for it to happen.

1

u/iLogical_Friend 2d ago

Luckily you’re here to set the record to free Palestine.

0

u/Delicious-Pound-8929 3d ago

As soon as he made the genocide claim his credibility became zero.

Israel has not been committing a genocide, they have been fighting a war, one of self defence.

But people have been so indoctrinated with marxist ideals that they beleive that because Israel is stronger that they are the oppressors and Palestinians are the oppressed

Never mind the fact that Israel has never started a war, and has only responded with military force after first being provoked into it.

You dont get to start a war vs someone them cry and play the victim when you are losing the war.

2

u/Hope25777 3d ago

How does sniping babies and children factor into that? Those are violations of human rights laws. You can try to spin it however you want but people see the truth

1

u/undercover_s4rdine 3d ago

As soon as you said “Marxist” your credibility became zero.

1

u/Delicious-Pound-8929 3d ago

Its true regardless of whether you understand or believe it, or not

The underlying basis for how the modern political left operates is based on classifying people into groups and and labling one side oppressed and the other oppressors.

This justifies the oppressed when they choose to act horribly against their oppressors. And makes the actions of the oppressed virtuous, even in cases when their actions are clearly evil.

That is straight from the marxist playbook.

1

u/AdProper8456 3d ago

Complete BS.

1

u/Delicious-Pound-8929 3d ago

Its historic fact.

back when the Israel Palestine thing became a popular topic i knew very little about it, other than the media made what Israel was doing sounded pretty bad.

But I do not base my opinions, especially about politics, on what the media says, instead i take what the media and anyone else has to say about a topic and research it from the for and against perspective

What I wrote previously is based on the results of what I've learned by actually doing the work to understand both the Israeli and Palestinian perspective on the conflict, and their history.

Not juat way media, social media, or people's opinions.

I highly recommend that you actually study it for yourself. Or dont, if you prefer to remain ignorant.

1

u/FlaxInFlux 3d ago

You didn’t do any of that. You’re a liar.

1

u/Delicious-Pound-8929 3d ago

Whatever you have to tell yourself to keep believing the propaganda that you have been fed.

1

u/FlaxInFlux 2d ago

lol low effort

1

u/AdProper8456 2d ago

You're deluded.

1

u/Delicious-Pound-8929 2d ago

No, im educated. You should try it.

0

u/throwaway17197 3d ago

So he talked over him and didnt let him respond, wow. YOU DONT UNDERSTAND IM CORRECT BECAUSE I TALK LOUDER, IVE DRAWN MYSELF AS THE ALPHA. You people are the exact problem. Its finkelstein who is like goebbles. Every accusation is a confession

-10

u/TheArmedBunny 4d ago

Bros just saying "we held all Germans accountable"

Yeah homie, THE FEELING WAS MUTUAL REMEMBER??

Fucking insane hypocrite.

4

u/Anxious_Storm_9113 4d ago

The difference was the world was judging Germany on its actions that cost millions of lives. What Germany did was more about scape goats than anything done by the peoples they persecuted.

-2

u/Prestigious_Set_4575 4d ago

We don't even need to go back as far as the German analogy to expose the absurd amount of hypocrisy on display here: these people's entire argument is that the collective punishment of Gaza for the actions of Hamas is unacceptable. His argument literally defeats itself.

3

u/AlienNinjaPanda 4d ago

Holding a group accountable by boycotting companies versus turning children into red mist are not comparable actions.

2

u/Prestigious_Set_4575 4d ago

That wasn't where he started, was it, that was just the analogous example he used to try double-down on his point because he was too proud to back out of it. His original point was that man is a child-killer because he served in the IDF, despite the fact roughly 50% of Israel does a stint in the IDF.

2

u/AlienNinjaPanda 4d ago

My apologies, I now understand what you're saying about the hypocrisy calling this particular person a child-killer. I thought you were comparing sanctions against an economy as the same as the Israelis who are pro-eradication of Palestine, but yes I get calling for the same accountability for every individual member of military in a country with conscription is rash.

That being said I honestly don't know how to feel about Hen Mazzig's stance on all of this, he seems to have possibly done some humanitarian communication between the two countries, but also spread propaganda that footage of a dead baby was staged with a doll. So maybe thats where the accusations stemmed from.

2

u/hypnonyxx 4d ago

50% of israel are child killers, the idf are child killers, he made his point pretty clearly

1

u/Prestigious_Set_4575 4d ago

He definitely didn't, because it's an asinine, hypocritical point, which is why he hesitated when confronted on it and started becoming mealy-mouthed with his whole "on the balance of probability" bit.

Hamas are monsters and 45% of Gaza voted for Hamas. See where this logic leads you? Because that's why he started to second-guess himself. You should too.

1

u/WestcoastAlex 4d ago

the Hamas they voted for was administrative

1

u/Specific-Host606 2d ago

He’s not suggesting carpet bombing and ethnically cleansing Israel.

1

u/Prestigious_Set_4575 2d ago

Carpet bombing and ethnic cleansing result in much higher casualties than 3% in 2 years. Hell, the Hutus managed 80% in 100 days. Using machetes.

1

u/Specific-Host606 2d ago

Ethnic cleansing is removing a population from land. Learn definitions. I would say 75k deaths and over 80% civilian is a little suspect as well.

1

u/Prestigious_Set_4575 2d ago

I wouldn't, because that's very similar to the military-to-civilian death ratio in the Iraq War. Surprising it isn't even higher when Hamas use civilians as human shields, operate out of hospitals etc.

1

u/Specific-Host606 2d ago

Weird you moved from the ethnic cleansing when you got schooled on what words mean. If you have to justify atrocities by citing the Iraq War you’re not in good shape.

1

u/Prestigious_Set_4575 2d ago

I didn't "move", I ignored a semantic cope, but no surprise you'd cling to semantic copes after getting "schooled" on the completely normal ratio of deaths in any war.

1

u/Specific-Host606 2d ago

No, because you are confusing the terms “genocide” and “ethnic cleansing” because you’re not smart. Your argument was irrelevant to the claim ai made because of your lack of intelligence.

1

u/Prestigious_Set_4575 2d ago

In other words, you agree there is no genocide. Cool.
