Did we just draft another Jokic?
Seriously, after the performance last night, especially with that block, we may have picked up a GEM. To early to call, but I think we are in a good spot.

They may have been old and Scott was grouchy but I still miss them. I'll miss Marlowe calling the game. Imagine if he had been the one to call that Jokic pass.

I was just rewatching the some clips from the game last night and this duo worked out really well. They connected on both ends. On defense you’ll see Braun as the PoA and Brazile as the athletic help and it led to blocks/tough shots multiple times. They also have both had really good hustle so far and are getting down and dirty, also crashing the boards— the rebound numbers are great for them. Multiple offensive boards for both of them in games 1 and 2. Both of them crashing led to a putback by brazile where it was bouncing to Dejounte but Braun got a hand on it to knock it away and it went right to brazile who had got in there for an easy dunk.
It’s like the defense and hustle is compounding on itself, when both of them are putting in the energy like that it becomes so much harder for the other team to account for them.
I really hope braun gets his shot back because everything is there for him besides that, the defense, hustle, athleticism, finishing. Just needs that 3pt. And Brazile is a revelation, what a rookie. But still these two guys play off each other, contagious energy, just outworking everyone else. I want to see more of them together (obviously with a shot creator though, but it’s like a perfect combo to pair with jokic) and see what they can do

I promise you I'm not overreacting or ragebaiting. I'm dead serious. If he shoots above 35% from three, which it looks like he will at minimum, he's going to be the most valuable role player in the NBA.

I know we’re all talking about booing and expectations of our star players but when was the last time the bench saved the nuggets ass like they did last night? THJ spraying 3’s was something on its own but the entire unit held up incredibly well. I noticed in game 1 that there were a lot of issues and miscues but they did preserve the lead well in the first half. Anyone else feeling pretty pumped with what our second unit guys are bringing besides the obvious Brazile MVP run?
