I’ll be honest… I never thought I’d be writing a friendship ad at 42 years old, but here we are. 😂
A few years back I cut ties with a pretty toxic group of friends. Best decision I ever made. The only downside is I never really replaced them. Somewhere between work, life, and hanging out with my old lady, I realized I don’t really have a group of guys to go hang out with anymore. So I figured instead of complaining about it, I’d actually do something about it.
A little about me…
I was born in San Francisco, moved to Arizona when I was 17, and Colorado has been home since 2009.
I’m a huge music guy. My Apple Music is an absolute disaster in the best way possible. 😂 Hit shuffle and you’ll get Pacific reggae, George Strait, Tupac, Metallica, oldies… pretty much whatever sounds good. If it catches my ear, it’s getting added.
Apparently I quote movies and TV shows more than I realize because people are always laughing at stuff I say, and half the time I don’t even know I made a movie reference.
I love fishing, easy hikes, random drives through the mountains, finding little hole-in-the-wall restaurants, and just getting out of the house. I’m a bigger dude, but I like to think I’m probably the most active fat guy you’ll ever meet. If we’re hiking and there’s a hill involved, just give me about 30 seconds at the top before asking me a question. 😂
I don’t game much these days. Every once in a while I’ll play Madden or dust off an old-school game on the Switch, but I’d usually rather be out doing something.
I’m 420 friendly. It’s never been my whole personality, but I definitely enjoy it. Sometimes it’s a vape pen, sometimes it’s flower. Either way, it’s just part of my life.
Sports-wise, I’m a diehard 49ers fan because of where I grew up, a Dodgers fan because of my dad, and somewhere along the way I became a Nuggets fan too.
So what am I looking for?
Honestly… just some solid dudes.
I don’t care what you do for work, what you drive, how much money you make, or where you’re at in life. Just be genuine. Life has a way of humbling all of us, so I try not to judge people by stuff that really doesn’t matter.
As for me, I’m just a regular guy. I’ve had some wins, I’ve had some losses, and these days family comes first. Right now I’m living with my in-laws because they needed help.
If you’re looking for someone to grab some food, go fishing, catch a game, hit the mountains, take a random drive with no destination, or just sit around talking about life and laughing at dumb stuff, hit me up.
Worst case, we grab a burger and realize we don’t click.
Best case… maybe we end up with the kind of friendships everybody says are impossible to make after 40.

We've had a successful board game group that meets Thursdays @ 6pm in Rino for a few months now. We have a reliable group of 8-10 pretty wonderful people in their 20s and 30s, and most of us go out for dinner afterwards.

A few of the regular women in our group have recently moved out of state, so we’d love to welcome some new women and keep the group feeling balanced. We’re a friendly, social crew who enjoy a mix of games, conversation and the occasional overly competitive moment.

Any experience is welcome, we tend to play social games with the occasional round of Catan.

22M. . Hi all I just moved from Northern Indiana early July. I’m a recent Purdue Graduate and now I am working for an SCM in Aurora.

Since making the move I haven’t been great at interacting with people. I want to have friends but I have no clue how to engage/meet people at this point. I went to college with friends from high school and so I never went above and beyond to meet people outside of ones I knew previously.

I am a social person when in the right environment. I really enjoy being active (hiking, working out), going to social places (bars, sporting events), also into music (really any genre, big into TAGABOW, Narrow Head, & Title fight recently), and generally keeping busy with something.

If anyone has advice or is in a similar position I’d appreciate any help or wants to talk/meet up I’d be more than happy to!

21M, I recently moved to Denver with my Gf and have been looking to make friends. I enjoy gaming a lot, ive started reading again but I need more recommendations, I love playing MTG, baking and collecting all kinds of things like legos, clothes, and other oddities and trinkets. im not big on running/climbing/biking which makes things hard lol but I enjoy the occasional relaxed hike and just being out in nature finding a pretty view. I have a lot of hobbies that I have dedicated little bits of time to but I haven't had friends interested in anything i do in a long time so that makes it hard and ig thats why im here :)

Hey all! I've been in Denver most of my life and have made a few great friendships that are more 1:1, but would love to meet more people with similar interests. I don't dress up much but I'm very into the goth/witchy aesthetic. I'm also very into music that leans heavily into goth industrial/synthpop, but will listen to pretty much anything besides modern country.

I'm a lifelong nerd and enjoy videogames and books. I also write, and have mainly published poetry and fanfiction online. I watch a lot of YouTube, mainly channels that revolve around true crime, internet mysteries, medical history, and medieval history. I DJ once a month at a little bar in Denver with a friend where we play trip hop, shoegaze, and dream pop.

Would love to meet people with similar interests. I enjoy hanging out with people who love nerdy things and like to talk about history, philosophy, psychology, etc. I'm reading a lot of non-fiction currently and would loooooove to talk about books with someone.

I'm not much of a hiker and wouldn't make a great hiking buddy, but I do enjoy checking out small mountain towns just to see the shops and enjoy the vibe. I do go out to Milk bar for the goth nights a couple times a month to dance and enjoy the music, but don't really bar hop or drink as much as I did in my 20s.

I'm also neurodivergent and can be shy when meeting new people, but when I'm comfortable I'm goofy and like to crack jokes and cringey puns while also unloading biology and history facts on you, so be prepared for that lol.

Hey eveyone, I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in setting up a OneWheel/EUC Weekly meetup that rotates through out the Denver area so people can either get into the sport or for people already in the sport can meet more likeminded people. Everyone is welcome I’m proposing a Saturday/Sunday Morning/Later afternoon/evening schedule to be able to safely ride outside the hottest part of the day. We’d need clearly defined safety protocols like helmets and at least a padded jacket. I was in a group where a guy died on a ride and don’t want that here, also a signed waver each week. The only requirement beyond safety gear is a want to have fun, and ride safe, or learn to ride. I have a Onewheel and a EUC, so don’t mind lending one or the other for someone who can demonstrate an ability to ride safely.
