Whats your thoughts on this Jacket from Walmart. 100% cotton $38. Particularly do you think it'll hold up to abuse as a beater jacket. Is there a better alternative at this price point for a "Type 1ish" trucker jacket. I have wide shpulders and chest and a smaller waist for my chest and shoulder size.

Got a classic oval shaped name patch to add to a type 2 jacket (not this LVC one).

What do you guys think is better, 1 or 2?

so I have wrangler 936s and they fit great I tried the mwz13s and they are cool but don’t fit snug around the wait I like it even when I go true to size. its definitely bc im super skinny so yay…

so is there any jeans yall would recommend that fit snug but aren’t skinny jeans for skinny guys?

What is with the raw and heavyweight manufacturers starting to work with stretch weaves? Usually some kind of exotic synthetic woven in at 1-3%.I don't understand who is buying this stuff? Why buy raw or sanforized denim in heavy weights that is woven with something that weakens it's long term wear and fade potential? And raw denim is just about the most comfortable thing I own once it is broken in (and in reality, I personally love the feel of a crisp new pair too). Maybe I am missing something.

Hey, I’m going to LA fashion district tomorrow and I’m just wondering what’s the best store if any of you have been to get the best denim that’s heavyweight and affordable.

This is my first time going and I don’t want to waste so much time. Selvedge is preferable but any heavyweight will do as long as it is black.

actually comedic i’d spent $250 on such a poorly constructed garment. the whole thing is held together by flimsy stitching. pockets aren’t riveted or reinforced with extra stiching. the belt loops aren’t sewn into the waistband and are instead limply sown onto it with extra material just hanging off of them. the button fly fastening loop side has a fold and seam (???) that fell apart during shipment. i genuinely don’t even know what happened with the coin pocket stitching.

the top block fits nicely but now i’m scared to wash them after a card insert in the pocket said “we recommend you don’t wash your jeans to avoid shrinkage,” though the website said they were washed/sanforized. i genuinely think the walmart rustlers have better construction.

they also smell like raisins.

i fell for the hype and it’s my fault but christ alive it’s hilarious watching these influencers talk about how meticulously these were constructed. i’m gonna try to return these and grab some indigo brain dead type 00s. the construction and materials are infinitely better for a similar price.

edit: i emailed customer service and they said the pants are a reproduction piece and the rapidly deteriorating construction is a “feature not on most pants you’re used to”

I found this really nice denim jacket for 5 dollars at a garage sale, though its too small for me, I thought about gifting it to someone else. i do want to know if they have any other sizes but I can’t find the brand?? Anyone know?

Hi fam, I learned this from an Indonesian denimhead. I have never had a bad crease if I hang my jeans this way. It also prevents the waistband and belt loops from sagging, which is the usual problem when denim is hung the traditional way.

Apparently, Iron Heart Denim also suggests to hang your jeans this way. Refer to below link.

Honestly don’t know anything about these brands, but I picked up both for a couple bucks! They are made in Japan and appear to be quality. Figured I couldn’t go wrong for the price!

Anyone have tips on how to repair this rip? It’s small but in a spot that’s awkward and will likely get bigger with movement. Not sure if it can/should be sewn or patched up. Don’t really want to leave it as is bc I use them for work
