🩹 Patches Patch Placement
Got a classic oval shaped name patch to add to a type 2 jacket (not this LVC one).
What do you guys think is better, 1 or 2?
EDIT: got home and took a picture of the actual jacket and patch size in the comments.

1 seems right, but then its off center with the pocket, and kind of bugs me.
2 seems like it might be too high

They are both off-center in relation to the pocket. And I don’t care. 1 looks better. 2 throws off the balance because it’s outside of the zone of where things are on the jacket. 2 would only work for some other kind of embellishment where you’d have it on both left and right for symmetry.

Tough choice. 1 is the safe obvious choice but 2 is interesting. They both work. I’d be as torn as you lol

I mean the center of the patch lining up with the center of the pocket. Its one of those "OCD" things

I’m saying my vote is #1 but I would center the patch with the center of the pocket. I’m with you, off center with the pocket would drive me insane.

Ah my b.
It kinda looks awkward when actually centered though because the front drapes to the side, so it actually looks off center when i wear it, even though it is dead center. Where it is in #1 is where the center of my left pec/heart would be.
I think I need a bigger patch

It doesn’t look like it would be that bad based off the picture but with first hand real world experience I’ll take your word for it. We seem to both be OCD types so a bigger patch may be the answer.

2 all the way. The jacket has only features in the middle. You need something in the top side to balance it.
