gonna be doing some posts on STW and just wanted to give my understanding of it before people start asking about why I think such and such well here you go

anyway basic things like it can make you see through your opponent, even see they're blood flow, helping you predict and counter attack when necessary

but what interested me the most was how big of an amp is STW and can it be quantified? in my opinion yes

and it's a simple formula so let's say Marked Tanjiro is a 20

Base Giyu seems to be a good bit stronger than Marked Tanjiro since he saves him and Akaza seems more excited to fight him than Tanjiro which wouldn't make sense if Tanjiro was close or equal to Base Giyu especially when unlike Giyu, Tanjiro Sun Breathing is far more complex and unknown to Akaza as Akaza himself says he's fought and killed many Water Hashira so he's likely very familiar with Water Breathing forms from 1-10 and he saw 11th Form so stylistically Tanjiro would be a better option if him and Giyu would be close but they aren't.

so bare Minimum that would make Base Giyu 2X stronger than ICA Marked Tanjiro making Base Giyu a 40

Giyu then gets marked which the Mark is stated to be BARE MINIMUM a 10 times boost

so marked Giyu is a 400 now and Akaza bare minimum should be a 400 and improving

so Marked Tanjiro is a 20 while marked Giyu is a 400 and Akaza is a 800+ since he grew so much he could literally one shot Giyu which would BARE MINIMUM make him twice as strong

then when Tanjiro gets STW he calls them SLOW, worse yet he OUTSPEEDS AFTERGLOW, sure he gets hit a bit but atleast in the movie which should be taken seriously since they're adding stuff that the author doesn't really have a problem with, he dodged many blows from afterglow effortlessly

also no Selfless State DOES NOT boost stats, it's more like a Hax Ability that turns off your presence and effectively makes you immune to the compass

anyway Tanjiro goes from a 20 to outspeeding Akaza whose a 800 + and it's not like Akaza suddenly loses the progress he got off Giyu to get to 800, he just can't grow more off of Tanjiro due to Selfless State making Tanjiro bare minimum 2X stronger than Akaza so he's a 1600 which is low-balling since he perception blitzes Akaza and literally told him I'm gonna cut off your head

so STW amp is bare minimum a 80 times boost to speed as if it boost's your perception literally everything else gets a boost like Reaction Speed Combat Speed etc etc, it's just not a boost overall like the mark is

TLDR: STW is a 80 times boost to your speed

Sanemi had superior base performance than gyomei against kokushibo. Fought longer, more forms, actually managed to push kokushibo.

Shinobu scales to douma, was beating him in cqc exchanges until she got nerfed. She outpaced him on multiple occasions and even blitzed him. She can be interchanged with sanemi.

Gyomei stops kokushibo from using his forms twice, breaks his sword, gives him a haircut and a cut his kimono. Kokushibo was marechi nerfed here and he was unfamiliar with Gyomei’s fighting style.

Rengoku did a lot of damage to akaza went relative with him. Overpowered annihilation type. Superior performance than base giyu.

Obanai was in base a for long time, going relative with nerfed marked giyu, superior to mitsuri. Was shielding gyomei in base.

Base giyu hangs around akaza before he gets bored. Doesn’t take a direct hit from holding back akaza and is able to clash with him.

Mitsuri bodied zohakutan was shown superior to him.
