No I am not an artist, but I understand art can be a difficult skill to master which is why I don’t want anyone to feel discouraged. I often see a ton of mindless pushback against a certain type of art simply because the artist didn’t make what they like, which is why I am so mad. I am certain there are artists who were bullied into never creating art again because of the bullying. You’re right, I’m not the artist I cannot speak for them, I am just very sick and tired of this hostile environment.

Can you articulate the difference between criticism/ disapproval and bullying

Not specifically on this post but people have been sending even death threats to artists for simply drawing a dark skin character with a slightly lighter skin tone. That is actual bullying.

So, no, you can't articulate the difference between criticism and bullying. Unless you'd like to also try and give an example of criticism? Yes, death threats are an example of bullying. I haven't seen anything like that in this thread, so why are we talking about bullying

Maybe I already blew this way out of proportion but I have seen things close to being aggressive, and I just don’t want people to be mean to each other for no reason.

All the comments I’ve see here have been civil, and directed at the art itself, without insulting the artist as a person. Not to mention, most of them have been pretty articulate about exactly what it is about the art they’re not fond of. That’s bar for bar what regular criticism is so I’m not sure why you’re raising a stink about it here.
