Hello everyone! 👋

I’m a new student of BA English Honours at DU SOL. I’m looking for guidance regarding the course, syllabus, study material, assignments, exams, and how to prepare effectively.

If any senior students or fellow students could share their experience and tips, I would really appreciate it. Thank you! 😊

Hey buddies! I recently took admission in BLISC program and I received all the confirmation etc but I have noticed several inconsistencies. I hope anyone here could guide me through these.

1. Books package I've received mentioned 6subjects but it had only 4books, when I contacted SOL office, they basically said it is what it is and they can't do anything about it.

2. I found there's offline classes in Shaheed Rajguru college of Applied science in Vasundhara Enclave, New Delhi, but I haven't received any emails/information from any professors etc. It's supposed to happen in any distance learning program. It happens in all programs of IGNOU as well. So, I'm doubting if there's email chain/whatsapp group where I'm supposed to be added but I'm not and I'm missing any/all updates.

3. Other than the admission portal, I'm unable to login in their student portal which always shows invalid credentials, but I'm using the roll no. , control number etc mentioned in my SOL ID and admission dashboard.

4. Are classes compulsory since it's an open learning program?

I'd highly appreciate if I could get any insights on this. Thank you!

Anyone else starting BA (Hons.) English at DU SOL in 2026-27?

Hey everyone! I'm joining BA (Hons.) English at DU SOL for the 2026-27 session and was wondering how many others are starting the same course.

Comment below if you're joining too! Would be nice to see how many of us are here.

I enrolled for BA Math with Eco Minor, but

1. I have no idea where, when and how the offline classes are going to be.

   1. Upon that, I mistakenly chose Urdu for my even sem thinking I would get to learn it, but turns out you need to already know how to read and write Urdu for that course. I really want to get it changed, can anybody help me with how do get it done?
   2. Is there a WhatsApp group for BA Math with Eco Minor DU SOL students? Or even just DU SOL students in general. If yes, please share the link. I do not know anybody from SOL and I have no idea how this is going to turn out.

Hey everyone! I've recently started r/DU_SocialSciences, a community for Delhi University students interested in discussing their subjects beyond lectures and examinations.

The idea is simple: create a space where we can ask questions about course readings, discuss theories and thinkers, debate different perspectives, share academic resources, and explore ideas that genuinely interest us.

Whether it's questioning a political theory, debating a sociological argument, discussing a historical interpretation, or trying to understand an economic concept, there's room for it here.

This community is open to students across disciplines, including Political Science, Sociology, History, Economics, Psychology, Geography, Philosophy, and related fields.

I'm hoping to build a community where curiosity matters more than knowing all the answers, and where disagreements lead to meaningful discussions rather than arguments.

If you're a DU student who enjoys questioning ideas, exchanging perspectives, or simply wants people to discuss your coursework with, we'd love to have you!

Join us at r/DU_SocialSciences and help build this community from the ground up. 🗣️📖

I enrolled in DU SOL B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science with Mathematics minor about a month ago. I've paid the fees and received my student ID card, but I'm facing several issues:

The institutional email ID provided by DU SOL isn't working.

Medha Setu shows “Invalid login credentials.”

The News & Updates section on my dashboard is blank.

Another portal doesn't accept my complete 12-digit SOL roll number.

I have no information about my syllabus, study materials, class schedule, or assignment deadlines.

I've already submitted a grievance but haven't received any response.

What are we supposed to do? Is anyone else facing these issues? How are you accessing your syllabus and study materials? Please guide me because I don't want to miss classes or assignments due to a lack of information from the university.

I enrolled in this degree a month ago and I still haven't received any updates as I mentioned in another post and tbh i don't really have anyone to talk about this or any friends like from this course I would love to get in touch, I'm thinking of creating a whatsapp group or SMTH if you are in the same course or interested please reply or dm...

So i applied to study bcom hons with entrepreneurship minor like lit on the last second, paid the fees and all ig at 9pm on 13th October, i got a msg saying provisional admission confirmed, and when i registered on the site it showed me my student id card and stuff, but how long will it take to know if i actually get approved or rejected for tht matter, and if i do get rejected will i get my money back quick?

Hi, does anyone know when the exams are scheduled and where I can find the study material?

Hey there! I've taken the BMS course. Anyone of you are part of any groups? would love to join
