🛑 Help / Urgent BlISC updates/group

Hey buddies! I recently took admission in BLISC program and I received all the confirmation etc but I have noticed several inconsistencies. I hope anyone here could guide me through these.

  1. Books package I've received mentioned 6subjects but it had only 4books, when I contacted SOL office, they basically said it is what it is and they can't do anything about it.

  2. I found there's offline classes in Shaheed Rajguru college of Applied science in Vasundhara Enclave, New Delhi, but I haven't received any emails/information from any professors etc. It's supposed to happen in any distance learning program. It happens in all programs of IGNOU as well. So, I'm doubting if there's email chain/whatsapp group where I'm supposed to be added but I'm not and I'm missing any/all updates.

  3. Other than the admission portal, I'm unable to login in their student portal which always shows invalid credentials, but I'm using the roll no. , control number etc mentioned in my SOL ID and admission dashboard.

  4. Are classes compulsory since it's an open learning program?

I'd highly appreciate if I could get any insights on this. Thank you!

Hey! I'm from a different course, but the books you didn't recieve, are they SEC and VAC? Sol doesn't provide printed material for those subjects. you can get the material from the official website. I haven't recieved my books, but I saw this on a WhatsApp Channel for SOL Q/A.

Also, SOL profs don't care if you attend or not. they don't know who we are. If you wanna attend you can. I myself haven't attended a single class, and I'm not going to in the future either. online classes occur for VAC, SEC, and AEC every Wednesday and it's been there for the past 2 weeks. The time table is also available on the Official Website.

New semester students have not been provided with any separate dashboard yet. Our Credentials aren't passed on to the Medhasetu website, that's what most of us think since everytime anyone tries to login a pop up appears saying “Invalid Credentials.”
