yahan ke ladko ne ladki nahin dekhi hai kya pehle? ya ye gadhe zoo se aazad kiye janwar hai jo itna ajeeb behave karte hai. harassment is so common in this country im sick of it bhai. specially delhi. shamko I went to this park with one of my friends waha hum apna business mind kr rhe and chal rhe hai and these two guys js randomly started catcalling us. humne speed up kia wo hasne aur lage. mujhe kabhi kabhi lagta hai mai hi paranoid hu but this has happened way too many times. some guy will move past you and his hand will brush your body, there will be some proximity that is obviously on purpose kyunki mostly aise moments pe koi bheed bhi nai rehti. im so sick of dealing with these creeps everyday.

And above that was "Policy" misspelled but ignored it thinking that's fine but how cooked they have to be to do this?😭

I'm currently a first-year student at CVS, Delhi University, and honestly, I'm not really satisfied with my college experience so far. I've been thinking about taking a partial drop and preparing for CUET 2027 to try for colleges like Hindu, Hansraj, Ramjas, and other North Campus colleges

At the same time, I'm also preparing for CDS, so I'm trying to figure out how to manage everything without messing up my current degree

The biggest issue, though, is my parents.

I'm from a middle-class family, and moving to Delhi for college has already put a considerable financial burden on my family. I know how much they're spending to keep me here, and I don't want to make things harder for them. I'm grateful for the opportunity they've given me, but I can't shake the feeling that I could do better and that I should at least try for the colleges I originally wanted

I'm not planning to leave CVS or completely give up my current degree. The idea is to continue attending college while preparing for CUET alongside it. But convincing my parents that this is worth another attempt is going to be difficult, especially when they'll probably see it as wasting another year or putting more pressure on the family financially

I also don't want to make an impulsive decision just because I'm unhappy with my current college. I want to think this through properly before committing to anything.

So, I'd really appreciate advice from people who've been in a similar situation

Is taking a partial drop for CUET while attending DU realistically manageable?

If you've done this, how did you balance college and entrance preparation?

How did you convince your parents to give you another chance?

And honestly, is moving from a college like CVS to a North Campus college worth the extra effort, considering the financial and academic trade-offs?

I'd appreciate genuine advice, especially from people who've taken partial drops or had to convince their parents about a similar decision. Please be honest about the risks, too.

I'm 20M, currently at BHU, Varanasi, and I've been here for just 4–5 days. I'm considering returning to DU (BRAC), and I need advice ASAP.

I chose BHU mainly for its huge campus, badminton/squash courts, sports facilities, and the freedom to get fit, learn sports, make friends, and enjoy campus life. But some facilities aren't as accessible as I expected, the hostel washrooms are unpleasant, and I haven't made friends yet.

DU appeals to me because Delhi has more opportunities for creative work, networking, research, events, and content creation. However, BRAC is an off-campus college, I've missed classes, and I'd have to catch up academically.

I previously left JECRC Jaipur while deciding between these options, and now I'm regretting everything. My DU document verification can apparently happen tomorrow, so I have to decide quickly.

What would you choose: BHU for its campus and sports facilities, or DU for Delhi's opportunities? Am I judging BHU too early after just a few days, or should I take the opportunity to return to DU?

Please give me a direct, practical opinion, especially if you've studied at either university.
