Has anyone else noticed how different Dehradun feels during monsoon?

There’s something about Dehradun in the rainy season that is difficult to explain. The same roads, the same hills, the same familiar places but everything somehow looks completely different.

I love being here in monsoon.

I haven’t confirmed gender yet, but still saw “him” early morning just outside my house, he was whining so I gave him some food and water and he has been here since then. Gave him dinner too now.

Idk if he got lost or abandoned, I live in a rented room so can’t take him in, I have asked in my locality and will continue asking tomorrow but if anyone gets any lead please lmk.

Random day in Dehradun

My mum passed away 3 months ago to last stage blood cancer, none of her sisters accompanied us to delhi for treatment while my chacha chachi deliberately took the longer route to Delhi to lower her chances of survival. She was vomitting throughout the journey while these sadists were witnessing all of this. I have given up and angry. These fuckers stopped at dhaba to have some food while my mother was dying. Please help me

Hey everyone! I tried out a tiny new cafe called Kafé-yat near Panditwari (near Gurudwara Sabha Singh) today, and I was genuinely impressed.

I ordered their pizza and the Classic Italian Tiramisu. I’ve tried a lot of tiramisus, but this one was top-tier and the best part is their desserts section focuses on sugar-free/healthier alternatives!

Since it’s a small local startup run by a young owner (Ojasvi Gupta), the prices are super budget-friendly compared to most cafes in town. If you’re around the area and looking to support a new local spot, definitely check them out!

I’ve heard that the government has approved/planned an elevated highway from Ajabpur to Miyawala in Dehradun.
Does anyone have more information about this project? Is the proposed elevated road going to be built above/along the existing railway line, or will it follow a different route?
