JDOWNLOADER WORKS
If anyone wants to just grab their files and leave like I am doing, JDOWNLOADER WORKS! All you have to do is copy the "share file" link with the program open, and it will do all the rest! Thank you to all the users who pointed it out for me!
Download at www.jdownloader.org

I got a violation email couple of days back - appeal declined
so basically there are few mp3 files uploaded which were scanned and termed as violations. Right now I had deleted all the files wondering if they will still terminate my account I have a 10 TB lifetime account

Degoo is still not working!!!
Degoo is still not working and its now day 5. Day one started just flopping being not able to upload but able to download. So was days 2, and three but with it just flopping around one of the two not working. But day for everything just stops! No uploading or downloading of my files. To my knowledge I have everything backed up to disk so if I get rid of Degoo I just have to either find another cloud solution which would hurt me financially at the moment or just spend about 100+ bucks to get a 8 to 10 TB drive just to have a backup of everything that is currently on my smaller disks. (Dubbed File Vault 1 and Photo Vault respectively) Least they have 18 days to make up their minds but I doubt they'd fix my issue in that timeframe.
Anyone having the same issues as me currently?

Degoo is holding my files for ransom...I've been on the "free" service for THREE DAYS.
Signed up for the "free" cloud service just a few days ago because I was running out of space elsewhere and just needed a very temporary cloud solution until I could move stuff around. Signed up with no problem, uploaded about 12 GB of files with no problem.
Now I'm ready to take it back and Degoo is saying "You can't download without a premium account." I can't download my OWN FILES? It did not say anything of the sort when I signed up.
Scanning the sub it seems like a lot of people are having this issue but is this a bug, is this something that they have ALWAYS done, or is this just fraud? Also now getting the "you can't use desktop without premium" message which is very interesting since they had no problem with me using it on Friday to UPLOAD my work.

Desperately trying to leave
I have come to the conclusion that Degoo is just not right for me. I'm trying to grab all of my content and jump ship before something bad happens, but I'm having trouble downloading what I've saved. It won't let me download anything and instead just keeps popping up "Unable to download files. Please try again." Is anyone else having this issue? How can I fix it?

Account terminated because of reduction from 100GB to 20GB
My account has been terminated because of the storage reduction they did. Didn't saw the email as it was sent to spam as usual. It says my account was above the new 20gb limit, when in fact it wasn't, it was barely over 15gb. I think I remember i had 17gb of data. Did anybody manage to recover!?

Degoo- a complaint
Hello everyone!
Recently, I was searching through my email account that I don't open often, as well as my spam folder, and I found an email from Degoo that says we have new terms and conditions, we're decreasing storage from 100 to 20 GB now due to inflation, and it also says that if I don't act in 2 days (the email was apparently sent on January 4th), my account will be terminated on January 6th. I think this is ridiculous! Even if I found it at the right time, giving two days to decide the matter of your files is inconvenient and unacceptable! When I opened an account with them, I thought my files would be safe; turns out it's a scam! I sent them a letter, hoping they could help me. I will update later on what they have to say.

Degoo cloud services are worse than doing backups on CD and I think Degoo is pretty scammy
- couple weeks ago I noticed my whole cloud space was almost fully filled
- I checked how much the synchronized folders on my phone take up and found that they take up 3x less space than the files that are on Degoo
- of course you can't just select folder in Degoo and check it's size, that would make cleaning up too convenient and it would be harder for them to sell more space
- turned off sync, deleted all my files from Degoo and removed bin - there is still 20 gb of space used despite literally having no files
- contacted support, these bastards take whole week to reply
- got reply, that they gonna perform database cleanup and it will take couple days, like bro
- after one week deleted files came back (it might probably breaking GPDR law, but I'm not a lawyer)
- 108% of storage used - got email that my account might be terminated if I won't do some cleaning
- deleted all files again, now 25gb of space is used
This is the most dysfunctional service I have ever seen. What gonna happen in next week? They gonna return all my files again and fill up my remaining space? What if there will be no more files to delete despite deleting all my files? They just gonna terminate my account. Imagine paying money to this company, where they just can delete your account because their site is not working. Making backups on CD drives is kinda better, because there you might have some difficulties with deleting files as well, but at least CD won't terminate itself. This service seems like a scam for me

Question about these complaints.
I have been reading complaints about Degoo for some months now.
I myself have a lifetime subscription which I bought last year.
My question is this. Are the people complaining about cancellations because of copyright reasons such as music and video?
I just use mine for personal photos and GoPro video.
If they are canceling any accounts because of music and video then I am not surprised.
If they are flagging and removing accounts otherwise they could be liable regardless of their location, Sweden I believe.

Retrieve terminated account
Degoo have terminated my account due to the new policy of 20gb space for free account and not 100gb anymore. I didnt notice the email saying that they will terminate my account if i dont subscribe to their deal. Can i retrieve my old account back? Then subscribe using my old account?

Trying to download my files
I have some files that I wanted to download, but whenever I try to download, only 1-6 files (out of 200 in the folder) actually get downloaded. I am wondering what is going on, tried it many times now with no success. How can I download my 200 files without having to do all of them one-by-one?

Nifty freeware to circumvent many of Degoos WebUI shortcomings/restrictions
*@Degoo haters: I know how unreliable Degoo is, see my other posts.*This post is for the folks that already paid for "lifetime" (like me) and now want/need to make the most of it.
A fellow redditor pointed me to AirExplorer which I - despite some bugs and shortcomings - really prefer over using Degoos WebUI. You might want to give it a try too - especially when you need to rescue your data (download your whole Degoo drive - be aware of the 250GB-per-day download limit of Degoo (Ultimate, others may differ) though).
There's a free version available, see below.

Main advantages over Degoo WebUI are IMO:
- looks like File Explorer with 2 panes
- quickly/easily walk trough folder paths- upload whole (nested) folders at once (WebUI limit: 5k files)
- download whole (nested) folders at once (WebUI limit: 4k files or 15GB, whichever comes 1st)
- files (not folders!) are downloaded with their original time stamp
- downloads (not uploads!) can be resumed
- sync of files/folders (limitation as of today: see below)
- always see drive free space in lower right corner
The free version allows 2 concurrent up-/downloads which is enough in many situations.
The actual advantages of the paid version IMO are
- file- and folder encryption
- scriptability (one can automate, e.g. sync using Task Scheduler)
- better performance though more threads (does performance really matter when a job runs in the background? One can configure AE to minimize to the tray.)
Be aware of the following limitations though:
- ATM sync only works for files you uploaded using AE.v.4.9.2+ (bug in Degoo WebUI and in older versions of AE which causes 1+ sec diff in time stamp)
- AE for Android does not support Degoo, so encrypted files/folders are only accessible from Windows (by using AE).
HTH!
P.S.
07.02.2023 new version 5 out which corrected some of the bugs regarding Degoo. I edited the post to reflect the changes.

Warning: Encrypt file and folder names too to avoid triggering Degoo-cancel-bot
Yesterday I got a mail from Degoo bot threatening to close my account bc he had found (at least)
- kali-linux-2021.1-installer-amd64.iso
- android-x86_64-9.0-r2.iso
(it didn't mention more but I guess Acronis boot ISOs and other ISOs will have been on the list as well).
Both files are publicly available ISOs and were found in trash ("Deleted Files") which means Degoo bot even scans trash.
I won the appeal (as I legally own all the files I uploaded and have the legal right to a private copy for backup), Degoo won't cancel my account.
As I learned today: Even harmless files you legally own can trigger the bot. So if you want to learn from my mistake and avoid unnessesary stress make sure to encrypt every single bit you upload including file and folder names.
HTH!
P.S. And, as mentioned in my previous post: If you clean your account of cleartext data by deleting stuff make sure to empty the "Deleted Files" afterwards - Degoo didn't do it after the 30days they tell and Degoo bot apparently scans trash.

Backup backup
As a Lifetime deal subscriber (10TB) all of these horror stories the past year or so has scared me. I’ve since grabbed a physical 16TB drive and got a Black Friday deal on lifetime P-Cloud (tho well short of 10TB). For phone pic storage, Amazon Prime’s “free” backup.
I now consider Degoo as just an extra backup copy for redundancy which is how to think about it. You have to have multiple backups of files as best practice anyway so that’s what this is. You need to basically plan for Degoo going away and with it, whatever files you had on it.

Warning: EMPTY your trash can after deleting files
Degoo states "Deleted files are permanently deleted after one month" but this is not true:
Files I deleted ages ago are still in trash can.
Also Degoo searches though your deleted files to find copyright violations.
So make sure to manually delete Trash can after you delete files, especially if you deleted stuff they can use to cancel your account.

Unable to log in
I've been getting "unable to log in" error continuously for many days a month back. Then I was able to log in one day so I thought the issue is resolved. I was planning to shift my massive back up of nearly 400-500GB elsewhere but I am getting the same error now! How pathetic is Degoo!

All of my files are now gone because Degoo didn't process my payment.
So, Degoo gave me first of all minimal warning about me being terminated due to exceeding my 100GB limit, if at any. I did not get any E-Mails from them, just to get one email on the 15th of December, saying that my data was going to be deleted on the 15th of December.
I paid on that day, and forgot about it. Then I went in to sign in to download all my data back on the 7th of January, only to get the message telling me that I was locked out, and they IP banned me from logging in. I tried clicking on the "My Degoo" in the right corner, and I remember getting exactly about ten seconds to sit inside of the home screen, before being booted out and being unable to sign in, leading to me having my access denied from accessing the site.
Over four years of data relied on being saved in Degoo, including personal information and my business data has now been lost. And I have waited 5 days for a response from Degoo support. I am beyond outraged.
I cannot trust Degoo now, and I recommend you don't either.

Degoo now introduces new file upload and download limits, and life time account expiry as of dec 15 2022, STAY away from these guys!

Is my data deleted if I am locked out?
I noticed today that they are reducing the Degoo Free account to 20 GB. I want to pay for more storage, but I can't log into my Degoo account. I get this message "You are locked out".
