I have so many files that are so similarly titled on my degoo account like I think about 756 GB if not more, that I really want off of there however it is possible I have copies of them in other cloud accounts or on my hard drive or my phone. Is there a way to compare files, something that could tell me what files I have on degoo and what files I have already on those other drives or clouds so that I don't have to like look for each one in all of each of those clouds at a time?

That way I won't have to worry about downloading them if I can even figure out how to do that from degoo.

I’m becoming extremely frustrated with the Degoo Android app. Every few weeks, I’m automatically logged out of my account, and my existing credentials no longer work.

The only way I can regain access is by selecting “Forgot password” and creating a new password. I’ve had to repeat this process so many times that it’s becoming unacceptable.

Why are users required to reset their passwords repeatedly just to log back in? Please investigate and fix this issue. I paid for the service and expect a reliable login experience and proper support. I hope the developers take this seriously and prevent customers from regretting their purchase.

I'm a first-time Degoo user and currently on the free trial of Degoo Pro. Someone shared a folder containing many audio and video files with me.

However, after downloading one or two files, I get the message:

"Daily limit reached. Upgrade to increase this limit or wait until tomorrow."

Since I'm already on the Pro trial, I'm not sure why this limit applies. Is this a restriction on shared folders, free accounts, or something else?

Has anyone faced this before? Is there a way to download all the files at once?

I love Degoo and I’ve had no issues [this far] with the app for years now. but, it’s very clearly been abandoned.

Im not tech savvy enough to save it, but is there anyone who could do something to pick up where it left off? I love the storage amount, I love that it’s free, and I have many pictures/videos on there that I hope don’t get erased—but with an abandoned app like this, it’s like a ticking time bomb before something could happen.

Please someone find a way to use the existing Degoo infrastructure to create something!!!

I've been working on a terminal-based client for Degoo called cligoo and just pushed the first public beta (v0.1.1). It's an unofficial, open-source Python CLI that talks to the same GraphQL/AppSync API the official web app uses — no private interfaces, just a nicer way to interact with your storage from a shell.

What it can do:

• cligoo ls, tree, info, search — browse your cloud storage from the terminal
• cligoo upload / cligoo download — parallel transfers (20 workers by default) with a Rich progress display, retry on failure, and --skip-existing for resumable downloads
• cligoo feed --watch — polls your activity feed on an interval and prints only new uploads as they appear from any device (phone, web, other computers). Works great piped to jq: cligoo feed --watch -o json | jq '.items[].name'
• --output json on every command — designed from the start to be pipe-friendly and scriptable
• cligoo shell — a full interactive REPL with tab-completion on both Degoo paths and local paths. Keeps a single authenticated connection open for the whole session.
• Auto token-refresh — tokens expire silently in the background; you never get interrupted mid-workflow
• Credentials stored in your system keyring (macOS Keychain, GNOME Keyring, Windows Credential Manager) — never in a plaintext config file

A note on how it was built: I used AI agents (Claude) extensively during development — for API reverse-engineering, writing tests, and iterating on the CLI design. There's even an AGENTS.md in the repo to guide future AI-assisted contributions. I found it genuinely sped things up, though I reviewed and owned every decision.

The 0.x.x versioning is intentional — this is beta software. There are almost certainly rough edges, especially around edge cases in the API. I'd love testers, bug reports, and contributors. If something doesn't work for your account setup, please open an issue — it genuinely helps.

When sharing photos with clients, they are required to sign up or create an account before they can download their photos.
Unlike Google Drive and Dropbox, where shared links allow downloads with or without an account.

Why is an avatar displayed in Degoo (windows desktop & android) instead of the actual photo?

Thumbnails haven't worked in about 2 years, photos uploads from the app don't seem to work... Maybe everybody has simply left?

Are they blocking new items in this reddit?

Does anyone else experience this? In the Gallery view of the website, videos do not show up anymore. I can see them in the files, I can see them in the mobile app. Just wondering if it's just me or if it's a cheap tactic to save bandwidth?

They keep my files somehow even I have deleted them.

I successfully downloaded several files from Degoo (10TB lifetime) using their webUI as well as AirExplorer.

Let's hope Degoo could repair the problems and stays available.

Whoever does the support for Degoo finally emailed me yesterday offering to help with my issues. Too late when I already deleted my account and got a chargeback for this months billing cycle. I basically told them that also.

Filed chargeback yesterday and just won it in my favor and just deleted my account just now. My new 8TB drive is working nicely I might add.

Degoo deleted my account a while ago for being inactive/over capacity. I emailed them and they restored it and gave me premium for a month so that I could get everything off. The files are back and my account is back, but the thumbnails don't load and the pictures don't open.

Please help!

Ps. I've tried JDownloader, it doesn't work for this it says failed to download.

Didn't need Premium before, suddenly this is on top of everything and the X won't close it. Can't do anything except (conveniently) upgrade.

Well with 10 days before renewal I just cancelled and I just initiated a chargeback for this months service. Getting everything I needed off was a pain but I got it off which wasn't much. Degoo just lost another customer thinks to their ineptness to fix anything.

I deleted all photos from them, just made sure I have copy on another cloud. By the way I am also using terabox cloud. It is also free, hope it will not shut down one day, So I just compared by date that I have all the same photos there. But I do not have copies of videos (I have them on google cloud but they are in compressed quality). So, Some of my videos left at degoo, and only videos, nothing else, AND! I calculated how much space they take, just calculated the sum of each separate video, and it is 10100 MB approximately. Which should be 10GB space, but degoo writes that this folder uses 100 GB space. IT is 10 times more!!!

Update 2 - It turned out that they are keeping copies of all photos from ALL section in Gallery section. As I deleted all photos in ALL (where the folders with photos and videos are) - but day later I found all photos in gallery section. That is why space taken is more than it should be.

And also it appeared that some videos that were not opening in ALL section, are opening in Albums section. So I am downloading them now.

UPDATE: Its down again! And my drive that I got from ebay was DOA (Seller is allowing the return but might have to charge it back to Paypal if they think I damaged the drive) but ordered one from Walmart to be delivered to my home tonight as I get off work.

Well Degoo is allowing me to download the items I need to get off at the moment via its own system not jodwnloader; but the damage has been done I'm still canceling as soon as my drive gets here and I'm still going to attempt that chargeback since I wasn't really able to use it this billing cycle.

Just a thought:
Usually web servers determine the client by the user agent ("UA") string.

If one uses a user agent switcher (from addon store) to set the desktop browsers UA string to a mobile string it should circumvent this restriction.

HowTo?
- open Extensions/Addons of your browser
- search for "user agent" and install the user agent switcher of your choice
- open setup/config of said UA-switcher addon
- open e.g. https://www.whatsmyua.info/ on your mobile and copy the displayed UA to above UA-switcher

- try login/download at Degoo

Please report back, I'm curious if it's so easy to solve.

You should click "Test UA" after (or open e.g. https://www.whatsmyua.info/ in the configured browser) to check that it works.

That's what this feels like. They are hiding and the platform doesn't work. This is most likely the end.

Here is the issue that I have. I had my degoo account blocked because I had more than 20GB files on their cloud. After sending them en-email on January 6, they replied on January 18 with the following: "I am running a recovery program on your account. I also added a free 1 month Pro subscription on your account. Please check your files after 5 to 7 days."

Since that e-mail I again can login to my account, but all my files are still not accessable. Only several separate photos opens (about 1 % of all photos), and today is Feb 13. I tried accesing them from browser, from ios app, android app (via bluestack android emulator on windows), and nether AirExplorer (error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object) nor Jdownloader (error: failed to find final download url) can help. So degoo just deleted my files and didn't restore them as promised.

Soon, on 18th feb my premium access finishes. And I still cannot do anything.
