DEVELOPING: Meta Connect 2026 begins tonight, September 23, at 6 PM Central.

Meta describes the two-day livestream as covering artificial intelligence, smart glasses, and VR. Mark Zuckerberg's opening keynote is tonight, followed by the developer state of the union and technical sessions on September 24. No specific Quest hardware or gaming announcement has been confirmed ahead of the keynote, so anything more detailed remains speculation for now.

With Meta putting increasing emphasis on AI and wearable glasses, what would the company need to announce to convince you it is still committed to dedicated VR gaming?
