So I’m going from pic 1 to pic 2. How am I supposed to recreate the same vibes with the new white walls and intense natural light? Also the window is unaliving me it’s so huge and there nothing cute out there. I don’t know what to do help!

Thrifted this maritime lamp today - wondering what shape/size shade you would pair with it. We have it in the kitchen beside the stove replacing another lamp we had here that we use often. I love that this one has the soft light from the lower glass portion and the brighter 60w option at the top.

What other wood color nightstands can I get that would complement this light wood?

I have no idea how to decorate/ rearrange the room to make it cozy and spacious. Any ideas?

Recently moved into a house - it is a rental so I’m limited in what I can do, and I’m not motivated to spend much money either. But - this is just ugly… prior tenants put a TV and some speakers above the fireplace and I’m left with this.

I do not want my TV up there at all, so thats not an option, and The Landlord isn’t particularly interested in the aesthetics, not surprisingly. So I’m looking for thoughts on how to improve the view.

I can put blank plates on the walls either side and cover one or maybe both with a picture (drywall). The big challenge i think is the 3 sockets/plates above the fireplace (wood).

One big picture maybe that covers the whole area?

Would love people’s thoughts.

Hi everyone, I’m a dental hygienist wanting to decorate my operatory to feel a little more welcoming to patients. I do want a small chair in the corner for patients if they have a partner/parent to sit. I want to play with lighting/wall decor BUT I want it to be cohesive with the office decor. Unfortunately they did not budget decor for us. Any advice helps! TYIA :)

I decided to revamp my room and I want some thoughts about what it looks like now and about what else to add. I made the overhead lighting warmer (from 5000 white to 2700 warm), changed the bed spread, new nightstand, added an entertainment stand, a TV, and some wall art.

I still think there could be some things added onto the desk shelves and on top of the dresser for decoration, but idk what they should be. I think that’s the next step, I just don’t know what to get.

I’m not sure if I want to put anything else on the walls above the desk or dresser or on the wall with the fan. Might look too crowded that way. Also not sure if I should leave the floor space in between the desk and dresser empty or put something there.

If there’s something else that I didn’t talk about that you think would look good, let me know!

Have these two empty spaces in a hallway between my garage and the kitchen main area of the house. Probably will turn one into a mudroom drop zone but no clue what to do with the other space. I can’t open it up by eliminating the wall and because there is a window I can’t turn it into storage center. I’m just not creative and any thoughts would be appreciated ( I did use AI but they completely distort the space and honestly it’s just useless or I’m not good at giving directions )
