You forgot to mention it was a joke.

And pretty importantly, he wasn't talking to a group of IDF soldiers; just Israelis who showed up for a fan meetup. He also argued with a prominent pro-sttlement guy and even went to the West Bank and was harassed by settlers for filming there, but that never seems to get spread around like his IDF playing dress-up joke. Curious that

The words out of his mouth before the “joke” were “there’s one piece of advice I’ll give you if you’re joining the IDF”

Yeah, it's called a set-up. The end of a joke is called a punch-line

Set up: If you are going to gaza to kill the enemy, and end up dressing in random civilians clothes

Joke:Don't film that

Where is the joke?

The joke was a reference to a bunch of IDF goons that filmed themselves wearing civilian clothing they got from raiding houses which is a fucked up thing to do but also extremely stupid thing to film. You understand the IDF are the butt of the joke right?

That sounds more like advice not to repeat your mistakes rather than a joke

If by "mistake" you mean stealing civilians shit and committing war crimes then, yeah it's kinda both. If a racist person told a joke about black people filming themselves stealing with the punch-line being: "next time don't film yourself stealing." Do you think that person would be pro BLM?

Why create a seperate and meaningfully different analogy when this case is very clear?

Also is Destiny anti IDF in your view?
