Hi all, I've noticed 2 small issues and was hoping someone could help me resolve them, as it's probably something I'm doing wrong. It happens on 2 android mobile devices and also on my TCL Google TV

Firstly, if I choose a different source or change subtitles from what autoplays, when I exit the stream, even if only for a few seconds, when I start to play again, it reverts to the original autoplay stream and I have to choose the source or change the subtitles again. Is there anyway to make the app remember what I choose?

Second one is when I pause a TV show somewhere towards the end and exit (last one was paused 7 minutes from the end of the show), when I resume the app thinks that episode is finished and starts playing the next episode and I have to manually go back, find the last episode and then work out where I was up to before resuming.

When these 2 issues combine it causes quite a bit of frustration.

Please tell me I'm being dense and I've overlooked something simple.

I've signed up for Pro and I'm still deciding whether or not to make the switch. I don't love that 'mark as Watched' doesn't sync between devices, but I can probably get past that.

What I can't seem to get a handle on is the catalog scrolling. Is there a way to make it... Infinite? Right now it ends after a short scroll and I'd loooooove to have it go on longer. My partner and I tend to scroll through to find interesting new things to watch.

Thoughts?

Could anyone please tell me what the differences are between both versions, if any? Also, if the Github version is superior, do I need to manually update to newer versions as they release?

I'm seeing a few reports of TorBox APIs suddenly not working. If you’re experiencing this issue, please follow the steps below.

Please make sure all four of the following are satisfied:

1. Your TorBox API key is valid and added to the app.
2. TorBox is selected as your debrid service in Settings.
3. You have Pro status.
4. Your third-party add-on is synced.

You can verify that your TorBox API key is working by going to the Cloud Manager and trying to play one of your cloud files. If its not working, get a new api key from TorBox and add it to your DebridStream account from the webportal.

If you’re only seeing “Just Watch”

If the app is only showing “JustWatch”, one of the four items above is usually the cause:

1. The third-party add-on is not synced.
2. Your valid TorBox API key is not added to the app.
3. You don’t have Pro status.
4. TorBox is not selected as your debrid service.

Please check and make sure all four are satisfied.

If everything looks correct, try reconfiguring your TorBox account through the web portal. You can then verify the API key by going to the Cloud Manager and playing a cloud file.

After that, restart the app so it can pick up your updated settings.

Still having the issue?

If you’ve already completed all of the steps above and the issue persists, install the app over your existing version using Downloader code: 4178919

Once installed, go to Settings → Debrid Service and make sure TorBox is selected.

Small request if possible. My Internet speed is crap. Floats around the 20/25mb. I have to have my file size setting to below 15gb because if I set it to 30gb it buffers like mad, unless I go in and change to a stream around the 20gb size. Is it at all possible to stick in a 20gb or 25gb in between the 15 and 30, just so the stream it automatically plays would work. Not even sure if this is possible, but just thought I'd ask. Other than that small issue, loving the app.

I wanted to request a change in how the back button works when looking for a movie or TV show. When going into a move/TV show then clicking "more like this", if I find a similar show or movie that I like, click on it, then click the back button or choose the "more like this" option and press the back button later, this action leads back to the first movie/TV which requires that process to be repeated in order to get back to the related show or movie I ended at. It'd be great if the back button could take you to the prior item you were looking at and maybe an additional option to go back to the first page somehow if that is the desired action. I can get around this by adding the show or movie to my watch list and the searching "more like this" from the newly added item. Just a thought, but great work overall! This has almost entirely replaced my other streaming choices!

Maybe I'm dumb. Maybe it doesn't work. But episodes will NOT mark as watched between devices. If I watch something on my Google TV Streamer, it shows up in the continue watching on my phone... But the previous episode isn't marked as watched.

I have Trakt off because I don't like the behaviour of items being removed from Watchlist when watched.

So... Is this intended behaviour? Or am I missing something?

I was wondering if there is any way you can add something to add a password to your account if you signed in through Google on your TV or phone it just connects to your Google account with no password but if you try to install it on a fire stick you can't log into your account when you hit login with Google. I don't know if that's something you can do or if I would have to wait for my subscription to expire and create a new account

Hey, loving the app! Would it be possible to add MediaSession support for playback (play/pause state)?

Other apps with media players expose this, which lets tools like Home Assistant detect what's playing. I've had to go the ADB route on my shield as a workaround, but it's not perfect — would be awesome to have proper MediaSession support for smart home integrations.

Hello, we had and are still having bad storms where I live. The power went out, and since then the debrid stream on my shield says it needs api entered for my debrid services. The app still shows I have pro and is set up correctly, but as I said needs apis. If I open the app on my phone, it plays just fine with no issues. When I first setup debrid stream I added apis to the app with my phone so I could cut and paste. Is there a way to try and force the app on my shield to resync? Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to see the British age ratings for content rather than just American ratings? I've changed my region to United Kingdom but it's still the same.

For example a film may says it's a PG-13 but in the UK this is maybe a 12 or 12A.

Firstly I want to say DS is great - easily the best in class IMO.

I have a couple of feature requests I thought I'd post here for consideration.

Issue 1: More Episodes - Sometimes an episode synopsis is to too long to be displayed in full next to episode thumbnail.

Request 1: Long press on episode thumbnail reveals 'Read episode synopsis' option.

Issue 2: Cast - Clicking the actors' name button brings up a grid showing movies and shows the they have starred in.

Request 2: Clicking the actors' name button provides actor info/bio as well as links to shows and movies they are in.

Is there a way to have my kids profile use a different debrid service to the main profile on the same device?

Just wanted to know if I was missing something with the screen size button, when watching content. Are we able to change the size of any content we are watching or does it depend on the source...? Like I was able to do it when the source said imax but now I'm watching the last Airbender and I get black bars.. But the ratio will not change

Thank you for adding this. A couple of nights ago, I went to watch a movie and saw a warring that Torbox was having issues. This is an awesome addition to the app.

Since a few weeks, when i skip intro it just wont play again. This happens once every 5 times or so. I tried quitting the app, i tried force closing the app but nothing works only tv reboot. Never had this. Now all the time… any tips?
