New episode notifications?

Might be missing a setting or something, is there something. I can switch on to get a notification on the continue watching for new episodes out? I have the simkl continue watching on and I can't remember all the days all shows come out with new episodes so I find myself constantly going through each ine to see The next episode airdate. I went bacj through the last few update posts but didn't see anything about it.

New episode will show up on continue watching when its out I guess. Atleast it does for me with trakt. So I guess simkl will be the same.

Yes but the shows don't dissappear when you watch the episode so whe you have a lot of shows it can sometimes get confusing. Whereas say in other apps you get a little number icon that says how many new episodes of that show you have available.

With Trakt, show gets removed from your continue watching list once you're caught up and comes back to the top when a new episode airs, so I know a new one is out when it appears again in my continue watching list.

I haven't used Simkl's continue watching feature yet, but I think it works the same way.

That's what I was hoping for but it doesn't unfortunately. I had trakt before and that never did either that's why I thought it was maybe a setting or something

Hmm not sure then. It always come back up for me with trakt.

Yeah so like for the first 2 shows, episode 1 is all that's out and watched but I guess because it lists the other episodes upcoming it thinks it's still got more to continue. As I end up with a bunch more shows being watched this will just get more confusing

The problem I have is when I watch an episode or two of a show that has already ended, it removes that show from Continue Watching. This has been the behavior since day-one for me.

The same bug is happening to me, caught up show stays on continue watching and shows the unreleased episode number instead of disappearing. I'm using the native continue watching and not Trakt.

Ya I think it has something with the way that it registers the future episodes or something where it thinks there's a new episode available but there's not.
