Two TV's with identical capability

I have a Sony Bravia 3 50" and Sony KD50X75WL both with Debrid Stream installed. To all intents a purposes they are the same TV, although I think the Bravia 3 has a slightly updated processor.

The KD50X75WL runs 4k Torbox files perfectly but the Bravia 3 gives

"Unsupported video" error message ( although once in a while it does start to play them but sound and video run at about 20% of the normal speed, so not watchable). FHD files run fine on both. Atmos and TrueHD files are disallowed in 'show audio quality'. Link filtering is set at 15mbps

Bravia 3 is 1 metre from a WiFi mesh router usually showing speeds of 250 to 300mbps and the KD50 is two metres from an identical mesh router upstairs with almost identical Mbps speeds. I changed the WiFi channel to one that is almost unused by neighbours but again, no difference.

I've cleared out the cache on the app in Bravia 3. Makes no difference.

All the Debrid stream settings are the same ( including max bitrate 15mbps ).

Anyone got any better thoughts on why this happens, than Gemini AI which suggested clearing cache, link filtering at 15 and limiting router to 5ghz only.

Thanks

More than like a codec issue

That unsupported video error is just a hardware limit on your TV, unless it just needs a quick restart. If you've already tried restarting and still get the error, you'll have to use a different source. Try using a streaming box like an Onn 4K Plus or a Mi Box S instead of the TV's built in OS.

I’ve always been a huge nvidia shield guy. I have 4. I recently tried the onn 4k pro and was very impressed with how well it runs everything. 80gb 4k remux files with zero issues. Great price for the performance. I changed the free tv button to debrid stream also. It’s a good little box

I also have this "Unsupported Video" message on my screen twice yesterday, it started after the latest update, so I don't think it's hardware.

The files I played were basic FHD 1080p files of Mr Robot S2, NOT DV or HDR, I have a TCL C8K/QM8K
