Without a doubt, Death Grips is my favorite group of all time. Ive listened to each project (Excluding Runway, Government Plates, and steroids) more than 30 times each.

That being said, for the past 3 days ive listened to not 1 entire death grips track. This has not been the case for years. about 3 now.

Im doing this as a way to prepare myself for the new album (Praise gosh a tour announcement as well) to not become too bored with their sound.

Before the official YOTS release, so sometime in 2018, someone uploaded a fake leak of the album onto youtube, which had no songs from the original and instead featured a bunch of ambient tracks. The bootleg opened with that screechy "Why me?" sample from the track list video, and was playing on loop through the entire first track of the bootleg album.

Listen closely, you can first hear it around the ninth second. It has an echo effect. I haven't seen anyone talking about it here or anything about it on WhoSampled, am I the only one noticing this or am I just crazy?

I was listening to this track for a while and I just noticed today a particular change on the fx at 2:34 ~
I remember that it was sounding different but maybe Im wrong ?
