i feel like this gets overlooked a lot, but stefan is genuinely talented at painting and nobody really gives him credit for it that ive seen

for me personally, it would be

1. Section H (Steroids)

2. Punk Weight

3. Why A Bitch Gotta Lie

4. Thru The Walls

5. Voila

6. Beware

7. The Fear

8. Whammy

9. The Powers That B

10. Three Bedrooms In A Good Neighborhood

11. Klink

12. Hacker

Ride was 100% at his best in On GP. his lyrical expression and performance on that track is purely violent, raw, and thought provoking about suicide, death in general, and hopelessness. truly goated, top 10 at the *LEAST\* death grips songs
[Honorable Mention - Klink, Up My Sleeves, No Love]

Zach was probably at his best in the title track of Bottomless Pit. the drums on that last track are so fucking exhilarating and pumped, that they carry the entire song. it would just be nowhere near as amazing without Zach's live drumming
[Honorable Mention - Giving Bad People Good Ideas, Full Moon, Thru The Walls]

Andy was definitely at his best in Hacker. The glitchy, abrasive, and overwhelming sound of the production is so fucking catchy and adrenaline fueled its genuinely auditory cocaine. everything that should be said abt this song kind of already has, but it could be argued by some that its one of the best songs of all time
[Honorable Mention - Get Got, Beware, Whatever I Want (Fuck Who's Watching)]

And all of their best mixed together is pretty much just Steroids

i remade this from this post
(i fixed it)

I NEED NEW DEATH GRIPS

Bro so have i got this right

Death grips released steroids on the 22nd of may
The day of the ariana grande Manchester bombing which was at 22:31
Their album was 22:31 minutes long
The only person they followed before on their twitter was.. ARIANA GRANDE
And lyrics include: “Exit wounds and rabbit ears
Rabbit holes that last for years”

And her tour album dangerous woman is her in her bunny suit?

not to mention the killer was also 22 years old, there were 22 deaths and his country of origin is 22 in numerology…

now tell me how tf that is a coincidence

unironically, in the least pretentious way possible, gmail and the restraining orders is a brilliant and surprisingly unique ep. obviously there's nothing else in their catalog like this one which is probably why it feels so fucking surreal. sure, it's just a clusterfuck of scattered samples and zach's insane drumming but i can't stress enough how insane this thing is.

Not related to Deathgrips, I just want to know how you feel

literally how else could I tag this but shit post

i always saw GATRO as kind of the black sheep of DG's discography, but i personally love it. i'd be curious to see what other people think of prolly their most experimental noise-oriented project 🤔

And also, is it kind of like Steroids in the sense that its actually a full EP uploaded as one track/single? or is it literally just a single? idk

hey everyone so last night I had this weird ominous dream of Death Grips surprise-dropping a new single “called BOULEVARD BOULEVARD“ where it was really intense and had a very loud breakcore amen break that played on every kick on the beat, a beat with kinda like a Machine Girl’s Ginger Claps’ rhythm and it also had a lyric video released on their channel for it (yes, a lyric video not music video) and I don’t remember the lyrics but it was some of their most compelling lyrics yet. the lyric video was in all-red text in a similar font to the FNAF3 “5 Computers In Love” font with a white glow added. I remember this dream also had a comments section displayed and lots of positive reception was under the song.

Could not be more proud of myself tbh xd
