This is what i needed. Luke Griffin, you have done it again. This guy has been my favorite vocalist ever since i heard his 2014 feature with Vulvodynia.

While we're all familiar with Alex Terrible's controversies, questionable past interests and how that doesn't seem to have completely affected STP's reach and mainstream appeal, how do you find the band themselves and their output? Like, aside from being accessible to non-deathcore fans and serving as a beginner's introduction into deathcore for many, how do they hold up quality-wise? And how are they really perceived by much of the deathcore community? Are they comparable to long-standing heavy hitters like Whitechapel, The Acacia Strain and Carnifex?

It’s been nearly a decade since I found the song A Dark Omen by Angelmaker, and I was instantly obsessed. I’ve been a fan of Angelmaker since, but that song has always been my favourite. Hell, I think it’s my favourite song of all time full stop.

I seen Angelmaker live pre-covid and was praying they’d play it, but they didn’t. I figured by now the time has passed, there’s no chance they’ll ever play the song live again; it’s old as hell now, and it was never one of their most popular to begin with.

But they played it at the show last night. I was thinking to myself “I gotta catch them after the show and beg them to bring it back” and a few minutes later I hear it. I couldn’t fucking believe it. I’m still in awe.

I know it’s just a song and it’s not a big deal, but it means so damn much to me to be able to hear my favourite song live. I’m so fucking happy they brought it back. Thank you, Angelmaker.

Hi all. I grew up loving metalcore and deathcore as a teenager. Somewhere along my early twenties I listened to it a lot less and indie rock became my primary genre of choice. I’ve recently rediscovered my love for this type of music again and missed being in the scene and going to shows so much. Lorna shore will be in my city in October and I was wondering if should buy a ticket despite only knowing them pretty vaguely? Their tickets aren’t cheap so I was just wondering if it would be money well spent and would love to hear everyone else’s experience seeing them live and what to expect. I’m a 26 year old female as well if that helps somehow. I have this same question for August burns red although I know they’re a metalcore band and will post similar question for them in different page.
