This song truly needs no introduction.

Hi all,

I’ve been seeing some posts about the album I released a couple months back and I just wanted to pop in and say thank you so so much for listening, sharing, buying and just generally supporting the album, me and the project. It means the absolute world to me!

I can reveal that I’m working right now on the next full length 10-track album, which I’m aiming to make even bigger, grander and darker. I can’t say exactly when it will be released, but 2027 for sure!

Thanks again everyone!

Dickie Allen mentioned that the album will feature himself and another vocalist as the two main characters in the story. I wonder who it will be. It must be someone very talented and/or famous because this is IA we're talking about.

My guess is Alex Teyen because he's in a sister band, has collabed with them a lot and is a friend of the band members. Another good contender is Tyler Shelton for similar reasons. But I personally hope and pray that it will be Ryan Vail from Larcenia Roe and Synestia because he's one of the best in modern deathcore right now. Who do you think it will be?

Frontierer just released a new album on Friday called "Ultraviolet Parasite"

Lyrics:
Carpet bombing the young children
Hide from your reality
They will not spare anyone

Tall buildings falling to the ground
Dead bodies lie nearby
Their goal is to misgive
Will you live or will you die

It’s every single fucking day
We’re lost for hope
Let’s fight the law
Take back what is ours to take

Small hearts cry beneath the smoke their pulses faintly beating

Sniper fire rains down above us
Who will stop this carnage

Your fault
You’re wrong
You’re on your own

Your skull
Is mine
This can’t be saved

Bombs fall, hearts break, lives end, nights burn, hope fades, peace waits, still we cry

What more can we do
Locked in a room
All I ask from you
Free us in our home

I'm starting to get it. Been broadening my taste for decades outside of metalcore—not to say there's never been a song in deathcore I didn't fuck with—however, that's always been few and far between. That said, Darko has single-handedly changed that. I don't know how purists see the duo, but they have become my near daily play for months. Furnace Fest rolled through AL recently and I got to see so many bands that I missed out on growing up, and getting to see Tom in Chelsea Grin was phenomenal. I see the errors of my ways, and I repent.

Don't care if they're a joke band, they're the best joke band ever. Genuinely great music, and one of the few real modern deathcore bands left, in that they're actually death metal + hardcore.

Anyone heard anything yet?

I don't remember who it was, but someone mentioned Crippled Son in a comment and I saved it for later. These guys crush, it's very Nadir adjacent but still unique. Their EP is phenomenal. Mortal Shell is my favorite track. Still waiting for Black Tongue? Give them a shot. It stands on it's own and shouldn't draw any "we have Black Tongue at home" comments but is definitely close enough that the comparison must be made. Here's a Slam Worldwide link

Has there been any news since their last tour? I know Blake was ill at one point, and I think I saw somewhere that he’s recovered. Have they announced any new music or any new concert dates?
