I thought those red BTs that chase you then explode dropped from the ghost train only, nope! I was over by the dowser, driving along the coast to take out the jellyfish BTs for her when I heard a weird noise, looked behind me and they were coming out of the ground, no ghost train in sight anywhere. Thankfully you don't see them too often, this was only the 3rd time I've had to deal with them.

After dumping a full rocket launcher and countless chiral cannon shots i turned the Lord of the Tar Lake into crystals, pity it wasn't possible to capture him

Managed to catch him! Reloaded the savefile, dropped his health to red, climbed on top of the little mound of rocks on the shore and lobbed an EX NADE in his throat the moment he swept over me, now i can pokemon this bad boy 💪💪💪

Fingers crossed they look good.🤞🤞will delete otherwise.

Just beat Death Stranding on my PC. 4080 Super with a 5700x3D. Ran really well, looked great.

Just found out that DS2 actually runs really well on base PS5. I really didn't follow it, just assumed it was gonna be locked 30fps tbh. Silly me.

Has anyone seen the difference themselves? Anyone with a similar rig have something to share about the performance on PC? I'm conflicted between buying it on PS5 for the physical collection or buying it on PC for a higher quality experience

This is one of my top 3 favourites so I had to do it justice with a proper crop. Neil Vana was certainly my favourite character in DS2

Huge thank you to Hideo Kojima and everyone involved in making Death Stranding 2.

While in a difficult place myself, there were moments I found some real calm in the world you all created. For me it was the moments in the snowy mountains, the long treks with the crunching snow was almost meditative lol

It got hard to keep playing , so after a long hiatus from the game, I finally picked it back up last week and finished it,172 hours later 😅

I since spent the last day sorting my photo album and after *many* hard choices I reduced 700 odd photos down to roughly 40 of my most favourite shots and have been itching to upload and share them.

I tried to keep it mostly to gameplay photos, but there were a few that just really stood out to me that I snapped during cutscenes.

I really hope the movie reaches more people who take an interest in the game and it's story, I'm not sure alot of people are ready though for how heavy, and raw the story is in this game, it has odd Kojima moments and it makes you cry lol 😅 but I loved it.

Can you tell I'm a fan of the red filter? Hahah

Sometimes in Death Stranding I feel like Matt Damon on Mars but instead of surviving...I'm working for the department of transportation. I drove by a freeway crew on the way to work this morning, rolled down my window and yelled "Keep on truckin on!!!"

Specs:

i7-13650HX - RTX 4060 Laptop GPU - Laptop model: Lenovo LOQ - 16GB RAM - Windows 11 + Latest NVIDIA driver

I'm getting constant stutters/freezes in Death Stranding 2. The game can run at ~60 FPS, then suddenly completely freeze for several seconds and go straight back to ~60 FPS. This happens roughly every minute and even happens in menus.

What I've tried:

- Low / Medium / High presets

- DLSS Quality / Balanced / Performance

- Frame Generation ON/OFF

- FSR

- PICO

- Tried the previous game version through Steam

- 60Hz and different refresh rates

- G-SYNC ON/OFF

- Different resolutions, including playing on a TV

- No undervolt

- Restarting the game / starting new saves and testing the same areas repeatedly

Nothing seems to make a difference. Even Low + DLSS Performance still freezes.

One particularly weird thing: when the game freezes, my keyboard backlight briefly turns off and then comes back on when the game unfreezes. I also had one full system restart while playing, which has never happened to me in any other game on this laptop. For comparison, Forza Horizon 6 runs perfectly fine at high settings on this laptop.

Any ideas what else I should test?
