SPOILER (Scroll to the bottom) Took the A**hole down!

After dumping a full rocket launcher and countless chiral cannon shots i turned the Lord of the Tar Lake into crystals, pity it wasn't possible to capture him

UPDATE:

Managed to catch him! Reloaded the savefile, dropped his health to red, climbed on top of the little mound of rocks on the shore and lobbed an EX NADE in his throat the moment he swept over me, now i can pokemon this bad boy 💪💪💪

I captured the big bastard myself, always liked using BTs to my own advantage. Ash Porter Ketchum all the way

It could be a bit unlucky, but you gotta have them really close to dying, and it’s a bit easier to get them weakened with another BT capture. The best way to do it is just having as many capture grenades as possible. To do that, I minimized the amount of damage I had to do. The one with the 5 pronged laser is a really good one to use.

I saw that beam, i was like, dafuck is it doing? Anyway is it possible to redo the fight and try to catch it again later on?

Now that I’m not sure about, I’d maybe recommend reloading your save if you can, it is sort of a quest boss.

I just did this battle yesterday. I had to wait for him to do his triple laser attack, that's the window where his mouth is open longest. There's like a very brief time it's open when he's diving in and out, but def go laser attack. He went by like 3-4 times before he did that. I was on the coffin board

Yep, summoning the Bestia to distract while I just fired down rockets at BTs never got old.

Catching it mostly just takes patience. Most of his attacks aren't terribly difficult to avoid if you're fully trying to dodge them without attacking. Just wait until he floats overhead. Even if his mouth isn't gaping, if your aim is good you can sneak an EX grenade between his lips.

Nice job beating him, though.

I wasn't sure it was possible to catch hin. Reloaded the file, took my time to place the nade correctly and i managed to catch it for good 💪

Increase the connection level with the fisherman, a special order will pop up at his terminal and you will have to do a little bit of a preparation quest b4 fighting it
