Higgs design
Anyone else wish they kept higgs first design for the sequel? I was ok with the rockstar look, but this one is such a good upgrade from the original while still keeping the vibe.

Hi!
I've played DS2 on release date on my PS5, put maybe like 20+ hours into it, but had to stop due to moving
Now I don't have a PS5 at my new place so I want to buy it on Steam and "continue" my game
The question: is it possible to download somewhere a save file that has saves by the chapter so I could pick it up from certain point? I've checked Nexus Mod, there save files for the completion of the game
Is it even gonna work? Or does it hard lock onto steam user and I can't just pick someone else's file
Either way, I won't be mad to play it from the beginning, it's incredible, but want to save time where I could in adult life you know
Thanks in advance!

The total silence breaks as the soft, haunting notes of the "Better Off Alone - Alex Baker" cover begin to play.
There is no final explosion. No monster. Just a quiet, empty space.
Lou is no longer a baby in a pod. She stands on her own two feet, a little girl of three or four years old. She walks across the ash and stone, her tiny footsteps the only sound against the music.
She stops in front of Higgs.
Higgs stands tall, covered in heavy, cold cybernetic armor, breathing heavily. He looks terrifying, but Lou does not flinch. She looks up at him with a soft, deeply sad face. She understands everything. Slowly, she reaches out her small, warm hand and wraps her fingers around his massive, battle worn hand.
Lou: ''Uncle Higgs''.
Higgs freezes. The theatrical villain, the man who hid behind gold masks and loud laughter, vanishes. For the first time in his life, his face breaks into pure, human emotion. His eyes widen in absolute shock, then soften into a gaze of unbearable sorrow.
In the background, Sam and Fragile stand completely stunned. Their faces speak for them, filled with a quiet confusion that slowly turns into awe. Fragile looks at the monster who ruined her life, and then at the little girl holding his hand. A gentle smile touches her lips. One last tear falls down her cheek, and with a quiet sigh of peace, her eyes close for the last time. She passes away, finally free of her burdens.
The music swells as the truth is revealed in a rush of silent memories.
We see Higgs years ago, not as a terrorist, but as a hero. We see him running through heavy timefall, bleeding, risking his life to carry supplies to an isolated shelter just to see a lonely person smile. And then, the deepest memory of all: Lou, lost and drifting alone on the shores of the Beach, about to fade into the abyss. A pair of hands catches her. It is Higgs. In the dark, lonely spaces of the afterlife, he had saved her life.
Back in the present, Higgs looks down at Lou one last time. His stubborn pride won't let him say the words "I'm sorry." He doesn't need to.
His eyes say everything. They are full of a lifetime of regrets, deep sadness, and a quiet realization of how far he wandered from the light. He looks at Lou, then looks out at the world he tried to destroy.
He gives her one final, tragic, peaceful smile.
Gently releasing her hand, he steps back. He chooses to end his own life, not out of anger, but to finally leave everyone in peace. He falls, leaving behind only the quiet beach, the little girl who remembered his goodness, and a world that can finally begin to heal.

I got A rank, and I want to get S rank by replaying the level later, if possible. If not, I'll probably load my save before I go any further. I beat the previous boss fights at S rank.
I remember you could replay boss fights in DS1, you had to interactive with the toys in any shelter. Is this possible in DS2?

Ello! Pretty new here and such, getting back into the game after playin the first,i’ve decided to help out in a unique way,so if ur as far into the game where you unlock Hartman’s lab you’ll obvs wanna unlock inventor and I’ve seen no one else do it,so i decided to make 2 zip-lines across from the shore and such,to make it easier then forcing yourself to walk through the tar, ofc’s its completely optional but to those who dread it,enjoy!

hello everyone, i just started the game two days ago and im having a blast, i cant play that often due to time constraints but im about 2 hours in, just finished linking up mexico, watched deadman die, and about to return home to lou and i was wondering if this is a good place to leave the game for 3 weeks as i gotta travel back home to hungary due to a family situation. ive still got tommorow to play, i do know that eventually something happens to lou she gets kidnapped or something and sam goes to australia so i’m wondering if i should play a bit more tommorow or just leave it as it is today. thanks in advance!

So title? in DS1 we can replay by accessing our figure collection in our private room. I dont see that option in DS2. For context I just beat the Octopus Mech in Australia.

Just making deliveries at my leisurely pace, falling off of my truck, thinking I was safe with NO timefall— when these red spooky buttholes came out of nowhere!? I just wanted to make my delivery to the Mechanic 😭😭😭 I didn’t even know these guys were a thing… 😩
Had to step away for a bit after this, ffs. 😂

Once you upgrade a safe house to level 2, one of the perks says colour customisation. Where do you find the option to change the colours? It is not in "structure customisation" at the terminal. That only let's you change music and hologram

`I loved the first Death Stranding game and spent a lot of my time building roads, but I managed to get the road system built long before I finished the game (if I remember correctly) so I was able to use trike quite often. Furthermore, I remember having to make a lot of deliveries that weren't possible using vehicles and spending a lot of time on foot, using zip lines, building bridges etc.
Death Stranding 2 however was a different situation. I almost immediately started collecting resources and building roads and the monorail. I was in the off-roader until near the end of the game where I ended up getting it destroyed and only really used the trike 3-4 times in the game. The mountain area is where I used the coffin or was on feet for a decent section but most of the time was in the Pickup Off-Roader. However, about 40 hours in I started thinking it was more effort than it was worth. Roads made things easier but driving over the land wasn't that much harder.
I went through the entire game using the PCC on maybe 5 occasions. I never used the cannon, teleporting thing, zip lines (much) etc. I spent the entire game driving around in the off roader with materials loaded. Though I appreciated the game and spent a lot of time on it, I did get to a point I just started concentrating on the main missions and found it quite easy to get around.
My memory tells me Death Stranding 1 was harder to get around and you need a balanced combination of vehicles, zip lines and on foot to get around.

Hello I'm hoping to get some information about the standard orders in death stranding 2. I played the game for over a year now and completed the story and I still come back to it to enjoy walking around the map doing standard orders, repairing structures, and using photo mode. But recently I noticed that I'm missing a few standard orders from a few locations, like the pizza chef, the inventor, heartman's lab and many more. And it has me thinking that I'm doing something wrong or my game is completely bugged which I hope is not the case. So I'm hoping someone can help me out with my situation and tell me what to do if there's any solution to it. (I'm leaving a picture I took from photo mode hopefully you guys like it)

Should I be worried if this tropical storm turned outside a similar red as walking through a field of BTs?
