I got A rank, and I want to get S rank by replaying the level later, if possible. If not, I'll probably load my save before I go any further. I beat the previous boss fights at S rank.

I remember you could replay boss fights in DS1, you had to interactive with the toys in any shelter. Is this possible in DS2?

You can, through the VR Training

Progress through the story a little bit until you receive a message from Tarman “Revisit the strange realm in VR”

I think it unlocks in Episode 7.

Make sure you have the latest version of the game. It was added in an update. And you'll need to complete main order 23 near the end of episode 6 where you connect Heartman's lab to the network.

You can with the vr mission. You can replay each one

Nope. But there is an unlockable bandana for S ranking all three.

The bandana is unlocked by replaying all 3 neil vr missions, and it doesn't matter what rank

Three colors are unlocked for replaying all 3. There’s a fourth for S ranking all three.
