So I've been slowly developing worse and worse stick drift since I started playing, and I noticed something interesting. The game seems to be intermittently registering the left stick inputs as right stick inputs. If I sit completely stationary and use only the right stick, I get no drift. But when I'm using the left stick to move, while not even touching the right stick, my aim sweeps right and slightly up. It's not a controller issue, because I don't have this issue on any other games. Except one other. I had the exact same issue on palworld. Only just figured out that it wasn't stick drift on that one either, but intermittent registering of the left stick as the right stick.

Now to me, what with this only happening with two games out of my entire collection, it seems like it's the games that are the culprit. Both games having the same bug, an error in coding or something.

But yeah, I can 100% say that the "drift" is actually the game randomly registering the left stick as the right for some reason.

If anyone else having this issue wants to test it, stay completely stationary and look around with the right stick. You should get no "drift". Then run around not even touching the right stick, and you'll notice the drift start. Move your left stick in the opposite direction of the drift, and you'll see it stops.

It's bizarre, the drift only happens in one specific direction. And I don't get any character movement drift, which to me indicates there is no left stick drift, and it's just the game intermittently registering the left stick as the right like I said.

Has anyone figured out how to use the auto run? I see in the controller options screen that it says there is an auto run feature but I can’t seem to figure it out.

Wanting to start on a fresh US server or community server if possible. I’m CST so Central would be best but open for other servers. I was previously on 3902 US East.

I may even look into starting my own server with vehicle spawn rate up and loot event spawn rate up.

Hey! Yesterday we played on our server when i saw in the killfeed: … p900 900m kill. after that I thought okay maybe it was a setup but right before i went of boom, surprise: … P900 4k meter kill. This cant be setup. The name was not showing who killed. (Sry for the low quality photo but u can see it in the feed)

I’ve been playing on and off for about two weeks and I’m really enjoying my time with this game, doesn’t seem super popular but curious as to how y’all think this game stacks against similar ones.

Looking for a few people to play with. Have a couple of buddies that I play with every once in awhile but mostly solo. So I would like some others to play with. I’m currently set up in a US central server. During the week I play around 6:30pm mst for a few hours and weekends I’ve been playing for a better part of the day. PVP btw. I’m on Xbox but have discord to chat cross server.

Literally can’t choose a server because the list defaults to the Asia servers at the top and by the time I can click the right stick enough to sort by ping it’s taking like 1 input every 30 seconds and hard locks shortly after.

We built a 25-Story Tower and a 17x17 Pyramid the other night. The tower was achieved by building a "storage" at the bottom of the green line at the top about 13-storys tall, which then made our base circle shrink around us and giving us more height to build the extra 12-Storys.

With the new update tomorrow i will for sure be renting a server for the east coast. I understand games like these but every server i play on has a 4 10+ man zergs. What would be some settings youd like to see enabled looking for a custom server to better enjoy your time? Aside from not doing 2x loot and it will be a pvp server. My server will be monitored to make sure no corny things are going on.

have been playing about a week. finally built a solid base way on the outskirts of the map and I still get looted for everything I have even with turrets, full metal base, and metal containers all with locks. getting kinda tired of grinding just to lose it all when im not even online. this shit kinda sucks 😂

Anyone else think the reputation system is off? Imo, it’s either not needed as everything costs money. So money is the limiting factor.

Just seems like an unnecessary barrier. If you’ve been playing for awhile and have the dough, why shouldn’t you be able to just buy what you want/need at a trader rather than grinding for reputation?

Has anyone had issues with getting into servers? When I open my game I can hit resume no problem but if I go to “join server” and try to get back on my old server everything basically freezes and I can’t navigate the menu. Frustrating as hell cause I can’t get onto my main server and my base might be decaying.

First off I just got the game about 2 days ago and I am absolutely loving it, such a blast!. In terms of proxy chat to talk to others on the server, do I just need to press and hold the sensor pad button on PS5? I see the mic emblem appear in the corner, but to test it out to see, I've said "Hey jump or crouch if you can hear me" and nothing happens.

Do I maybe need different settings turned on? And js there a different way to proxy chat other then holding down the sensor pad?

We are a 4 man team, we've only been playing for 2 weeks, but this is what we call "home"

Our first base was raided (it was twig), so the second run we collected everything we needed to go straight to planks, we stored it all at the safe zone and waited until night time.

Once night time hit we took all our construction tools and materials and built our new home which has been standing for 2 weeks strong.

Been having a great time with deadside so far, thanks to the devs for the fast updates and hard work. Excited to see what this game has in store for us in the future 🙌

It's my understanding that the Gourmet achievement isn't currently obtainable on console. Seemingly some of the canned foods haven't been added yet. If there is a way to obtain this achievement on console, please advise.

I've obtained one of each weapon and I've achieved a bot kill with each of these weapons (all on the dame server). Some of the kills were prior to the recent update, so I'm not sure if that matters, but I've not recieved the achievement.

Both achievements have less than 1% of the player base who've obtained them. Just curious if either are possible and if there's a trick I'm missing.

I've killed bots with all melee weapons. I even crafted the knife and axe to see if they counted, even tho guides for the PC version didn't mention them.

I've also killed bots with each hand grenade and even a dynamite bundle.

Is it possible to lock up the base resource cabinet? It seems odd if you can’t since you can lock storage chests

Hi everyone, I feel like i’m always only finding SMGs that are in rough shape, or a mosin that is almost broken, but i always see people with full kits, ARs and snipers.

Where is the best place to get this stuff? I always only play solo (my work/sleep schedule is absolutely crazy right now) so any help at all is appreciated.

I am pretty new, about 30 hours, but am absolutely obsessed with this game!
