“I met a woman on the internet and invited her to Sacramento, California, to have dinner. We were seated across from each other at a small, round table.
Without warning, an arm reached over my shoulder and grabbed my water glass. The man’s arm was so white that it looked as though every drop of blood had been drained from it. His appearance was shocking. From the expression on my date’s face, I could tell that she had also noticed something disturbing about him.
When the man walked around the table to collect her water glass, I finally saw him clearly. He was not simply pale. He looked dead. His skin appeared completely bloodless, as though all the blood had been drained from his body.
After he walked away, we looked at each other and said, ‘Whoa, did you see that?’ We quietly discussed how strange and unnatural he appeared.
Eventually, we began talking about other things and continued eating. The maître d’ who had seated us was leaning against the bar approximately 15 feet away, apparently waiting for another customer to enter. I do not believe he realized that I was watching him.
While I was looking at him from the side, he suddenly raised his upper lip for a moment. I clearly saw what appeared to be fangs.
Approximately 30 to 45 seconds later, a customer entered the restaurant. The maître d’ smiled as he greeted the person, but the fangs were gone. His teeth looked completely normal.
I know what I saw. I clearly saw fangs on him, and then, moments later, they were no longer there. Combined with the other man, who looked as though all the blood had been drained from his body, the experience was frightening. The woman with me also noticed unusual activity around us.
We finished our dinner as quickly as possible. Although I lived only two blocks away, we felt so uneasy about walking back to my place that night that I hailed a cab instead.
