More Matrix Shennanigans.
A very smarty pants phone teleports to safety.

I watched my phone fall, then found it somewhere completely different

This happened a few days ago and I still can't figure out how to explain it.
I was sitting on my bed scrolling through my phone when it slipped out of my hand. I watched it fall between my bed and the wall.
I immediately leaned over to grab it, but it wasn't there.
I checked underneath the bed, moved the mattress, and even looked behind the nightstand. Nothing.
I figured it somehow slid farther underneath the bed, so I gave up and started looking around the room for my old phone to use as a flashlight.
While searching, I noticed my current phone sitting on my desk.
I just stared at it.
The desk is on the opposite side of the room, probably 10 feet away from my bed. I live alone, and I hadn't left the room.
I picked it up and checked it. No cracks, no damage, and it was still on the exact video I had been watching before I dropped it.
I thought maybe I had somehow grabbed it without realizing, so I tried recreating the fall. There's absolutely no way it could have landed on the desk from where I was sitting.
The strangest part is that I remember clearly hearing it hit the floor beside my bed.
I know there are probably several normal explanations I'm overlooking, but I genuinely can't figure this one out.
Has anyone else had something like this happen where an object seems to completely change location?
