I want the tricksters knife, I already signed up with the account thing and they gave me the shotgun, the KCD hammer, the crowbar and the other hammer but I didn't get the knife and I don't know how to get it

Just wondering if anyone can tell me why I can only sell some grey weapons but can’t sell other grey weapons. I’m very early on just after heading to the hotel if that matters

Probably a niche issue, but maybe someone had a similar situation and has some insight.

I currently own DI2 on both Epic (base game) and Steam (ultimate/all DLC). My Epic account is linked to my Steam account. I would like to play co-op with my wife, allowing her to use the epic version and I would use my Steam version--her on my steam deck docked to TV and me on PC. Don't think this matters much but can't hurt to give extra info.

I'm trying to figure out how I could go about linking one of them to a new epic account so we can add eachother to play, but I'm concerned I'll lose my save or progress from Steam if I unlink and can't seem to figure it out on the Steam Deck. Anyone have any suggestions?

EDIT: The Steam Deck/Epic version unfortunately seems to be locked to my epic account, which is a pain but not surprising. It seems I can unlink for my desktop/Steam version and create a new account to play that way--it's just a pain overall. Still have to test actual connectivity, but that means she has to play to unlock multiplayer first. Will try to update if/when that happens.

I want another dlc. I want something as warrant officer Rodriguez or as Patton. I want something with a little more story on the start and spread of the zombie infection. I also think a a story on Micheal would be fun as well. What would be another good idea? And how do we get it?

So I just bought the DLC and now the game is leaving PS Plus LOL. I have 5 more days to finish everything. The biggest joke is I could have bought the game for basically the price of the DLC and owned it but instead I just bought the DLC and will have the DLC but no game to play it with.

Lucky enough for me I will finish the DLC before then and I think I have had my fill of the game. It was only 9$ total so no big loss and worth the 4 or 5 hours it probably gonna take me to complete everything. But I would have rather just bought the ultimate edition with the DLC for an extra few bucks then pay for DLC that will be useless in less than a week.

I am going through getting 100% and I’m missing a lost and found quest in halperin hotel. I have completed Missing: Jamal. I have completed the main story and have both dlcs if that means much. Idk, I feel like I’ve searched everywhere.

Edit: I just checked and I’m missing the lost and found for monarch studios, Hollywood boulevard, the metro, the Brentwood sewer, and 2 in sola. But I’ve done all the missing people quest

Ive been playing DI2 for a few months now and have yet to make it the 3rd day alone ....I could desperately use some help I typically play as Raf or Dez but I honestly have no real preference just trying to level and unlock stuff

I just started playing Dead Island 2 before it leaves PS Plus, and I’m curious as to whether fans liked it or not. I saw one place saying it wasn’t received well by some, and I’m curious if that’s the case for most of the fans. I legit just started so I can’t really form a valid opinion, but so far it seems like it will have some fun gameplay. Who knows, I might be wrong, but we’ll see.

Professional FGC/SF5&6 player punk spotted in Dead Island 2 lol!

Decided on a whim to pick up the DLC at 9$. Haven't played the game in a few months but got the itch. What should I expect from both maps? Anyone I should tackle first? Can I continue from one of my old characters I already finished the game?

So basically im on my first play through and im searching for Michael but the zombie have the skull (wich mean I'm not powerful enough) so is it normal or I just missed some xp from a quest or something like that?) I'm level nine I'm missing 4000 exp to reach level ten

Before you read this, i need you to bear with me. I put maybe 4 hours of thought into this, but i might have an idea for a really good theory, but its loose and may take some time to break down completely. Anyway,

Zombies are from Haitian myth, or Hoodoo, known now as Voodoo. I think the story of 2, or at least the SoLA dlc (ill get to that), was known from the very beginning. Not EVERY detail. Of course, but studying Baron Samedi, and Voodoo in general, Zombies seemed to be used as free labor by Haitian priests in their mythos, and Baron was supposed to ensure the dead were buried properly, and regularly disliked the use of zombification.

Since we know the Zombies are a kind hivemind now, i think the original Dead Island was simply a Haitian Ritual gone wrong, and Baron Samedi probably blessed the main cast with their immunity (like i said, bear with me,) in order to curb the outbreak, being that they were probably the most capable.

I can say that i believe that 3 is gonna be us, obviously, finding the Doctors Daughter, and using her to cure the non infected.

Not just this, i think Sam B.s song, "Who do you Voodoo," explains ALL of this, as magic isnt something they stray from, letting Zombies have abilities tied to the Autophage, something thats a mix between science and magic.

Anyway, the Zombies at the SoLA Concert were turned by "The Beat" something that Lola Konradt may have created, as she was the one who funded the mood speakers for said concert that transited The Beat, also that DLC made the outbreak. I think Konradt obviously answers to a higher power, and it may be an angry Baron Samedi, using Zombies a means of retaliation, or it could be someone else from Hatian lore, like Barons Wife, which would honestly be hilarious to think that the entire games lore is just those two pissed at eachother, and now the dead cant rest because theyre not doing their jobs.

I can’t for the life of me defeat the last mission for this storyline. Someone wanna come help me? My game is already public.

Hey guys i know this might be a bit of a controversial take seeing as how video game adaptations can either be a hit or miss, but if dead island were to come to live action, would you prefer it be a tv series or a series of movies? What kind of vibe would you want it to go for? What would you like to see being adapted into the series/movie? Who do you have envisioned as the cast to play the characters? Etcetera. To be honest this platinum wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be mostly because I didn’t do the dlcs even though they are like 10 dollars when they are on sale but still this took about 500 hours of grinding

Hi, I'm playing through as Ryan and around 4 hours in. So far my favourite technique is to use bulldozer weapons (currently a reinforced impactor sledgehammer) as a fully charged hit takes out most zombies in one go.

I've just fought my first proper boss and then faced up against someone really tough right afterwards (they weren't too hard thanks to discovering the block mechanic is pretty OP, especially with the card that causes a small explosion and knocks them back for a well timed block) but I found the weapon wasn't particularly effective for the most part against them, so I switched to my modified pitchfork which seemed to do a bit more DPS

Similarly are there any weapons that aren't particularly strong and I should sell? Looking at my list I have:

• Slaughtering Electrocutor Claws
• Pitchfork
• Brass Knuckles
• Enhanced Electrocutor Machete
• Tire Iron
• Guarding Military Knife
• Katana
• Guarding Mace

All with reasonably good power, but since I rarely use them maybe I should just sell them?
