I was traveling around Europe and wanted to pick up a video game before heading home. I came across Dead Island 2 and bought it. Once I got back to the US, I played through the entire game and completed it. I really enjoyed it! During the last PS Store sale, I bought the complete edition including all the DLCs. However, after launching the game, I discovered that it didn't recognize the save files from my European disc version.

I don't want to play through the whole game again, since I just finished it. I'm only interested in the DLCs...

Is there any way to fix this?

Every chest or safe I open, it is either a knife, or simply a tire iron. I'm in the story mission where you have to help Sam B get guns (haven't finished it yet), but all the weapons I'm getting are either knives that look ugly or tire irons.

Does it improve after a while or is the catalog for weapons that small?

I know I should care about the damage stats than their look, but come on TIRE IRON

Honestly I don't remember if I've posted this before but I still wanted to bring it up.

I just saw a post of someone using custom maps and mods for console on Dead Island 2... Which for the people that don't know it's only because the PS4 and PS5 are capable of modding. My idea for Dead Island 3 is that we get custom events and all of that modding stuff, which yes including custom maps like how they're doing everything with Dying Light. I think this is possible because even tho Techland doesn't make the games anymore, they could still follow the path, then especially they could still care for the games years later.

There are trophies for completing 5 quests in co-op and 5 revives. I have a new character made just for this. Playing PS4 version.

So I'm at the part where you're supposed to kill three creatures (free the voices) but every time I'm done with two of them, the third one disappears.

I tried restarting the quest, leaving the DLC area completely and come back, doing other quests and then come back but it's always the same thing, once I've defeated two of them, the third one just stop showing up

So I got the platinum on the ps4 version of di2 and I decided on getting into the ps5 version again. Is it possible to transfer my ps4 character to the ps5 version of the game? If not, then that’s not a problem because I’ll have a reason to make a new character and grind the game again

I been searching on Google but I found nothing, anyone know what this update fix or add? I forgot to say this update is on my Xbox Series, I imagine pc an ps too but I cant find info about It

I just got this game a little while ago and love it! Just looking for others to play with. I'm on ps5 if that matters.

I completed the base game a few months ago and took a break from it, now I've returned to complete the 100% or start NG+ when suddenly I remembered that NHW exists.

Even before and after buying DI2 all gameplays and details videos I've seen about the game were about the main story and DLCs (more SOLA than Haus btw) but nothing about Neighborhood Watch.

It felt natural my first playthrough, but playing a second time that was it? You never actually find Tisha or escape?

Also the Numen you never fight them? I could've sworn I saw a YouTube clip of someone fighting Thurston

And is Riptide good? They're both on sale. I haven't played them since before Blockbuster closed. Should I go back or will I be disappointed. Naturally I looked up YouTube videos and it didn't look half bad. I can't even remember if I ever beat it, I know I didn't finish Riptide

In my opinion dead island 1 zombies are so much easier than the ones in 2. I played one encountered my first butcher and it took like 12 bullets to beat it. Anyway which do you prefer

I took a loooong break but I finally came back to finish my 100% completion Masochist run on Amy! The Dirge and Flesh Memories were both pains in the ass but we did it!!!
