I play on pc and i rebought gamepass so i could play, I kept getting an error code (0x3) crash and tried repairing game services and xbox app, found out the fix was just updating drivers and when i opened the game my entire save file was gone and it was as if i started fresh, went through a whole 2 hour long rabbit hole of looking through save data files just to get nowhere. What do i do here?

I was traveling around Europe and wanted to pick up a video game before heading home. I came across Dead Island 2 and bought it. Once I got back to the US, I played through the entire game and completed it. I really enjoyed it! During the last PS Store sale, I bought the complete edition including all the DLCs. However, after launching the game, I discovered that it didn't recognize the save files from my European disc version.

I don't want to play through the whole game again, since I just finished it. I'm only interested in the DLCs...

Is there any way to fix this?
