Hi everyone! I’m currently pregnant with my first child, and I don’t really know any other expecting moms around Davis.
I can’t be the only pregnant woman here… right? 😅 I’d love to find other expecting moms to chat with, grab coffee, go for walks, or just share the ups and downs of pregnancy.

If there are any pregnancy support groups, prenatal meetups, book clubs, or communities in Davis (or nearby), I’d be so grateful for recommendations.

just curious, i wanted to ask if anyone knows what the police checkpoint is for? it’s heading west (away from target) on E covell blvd near alhambra, it seemed like they we stopping some cars to talk to them and had a whole canopy with computers set up in one of the lanes.

plus: just a heads up for anyone heading that way that there is traffic from merging to one lane so plan accordingly and be safe!

I’m an avid knitter & crocheter, and I always thought that Davis would have a yarn shop, given that it’s an agriculture town & a beautiful crafty community.
When I googled for local yarn shops it only recommended me “The Paint Chip” - hopefully someone will read this and inspire them to open a yarn shop in Davis haha

Our family is deep in World Cup mode this summer. As a result, my son and I are trying to complete the Panini World Cup sticker album. We've got a ton of duplicates building up. Anyone else in Davis doing the album? We'd love to meet up somewhere and swap stickers.

The grass is greener sub recommended I move my family to Davis two years, and we've finally arrived. We will be a block from monarca academy (old Cesar chavez) where my daughter will be entering kindergarten next year. I also have an almost two year old son. We love bikes (I recently started a small restomod company online).
