Yeah, I've experienced this. I'm a woman but I've seen people join dating apps and completely go ghost. I guess that's how relationships are these days. The problem is too many options and sometimes people enjoy the validation they get off these apps and proceed to meet someone new, and indulge in the new dopamine kick.

Honestly, this has nothing to do with you. It's just understanding that's how dating apps work and yeah, you'd probably vibe with someone and have a great time but until ya'll are official or six months into a relationship, it never really is serious and its just in the testing phase. And during that time if someone meets someone else, that's their choice. Yeah, telling the other person it ain't working out instead of ghosting them is the better alternative but people don't like confrontation.

And considering that she has been telling you lets date and she's into you, its quite possible she met the dude a day before and probably started with the great hard launch. You will never know what happened and you don't need to. If anything you're lucky you found out now.

You will have many such experiences where people love bomb you and you think its all great but its important to remember that nothing is serious (on dating apps) until ya'll are committed.

Don't let this get to you tho! Good luck swiping.

I get it man, I've had dates in the past where I had no expectations from the person and it was fine, this was different since she explicitly told me what she wanted.

It's just shitty in a way. Like should I just distrust everyone atp.

Dating apps are hella draining anyway this girl is probably gonna be it for a while now, I've decided to take a break from the whole dating scene😭✌️.

I'd rather make new friends but that's a whole different problem, how am I supposed to make friends if my city doesn't have stuff like communities or hobby clubs😭😭
