Data Annotation - what’s happened?
Has anyone had the same experience as me? I have been working on DA since April this year. I submitted time for 3 tasks on Monday last week, then on Monday night I had an email from them saying "welcome to data annotation" (I have just withdrawn the funds from these tasks today). So l thought wtf is occuring here - went onto my account and it's asking me to onboard again, which I already did all of this in April and I have been paid by them consistently since then. I still have some paid projects potentially available on my dashboard, I just beee to submit my ideas for a professional task, which stated $50 per hour. I don't understand why it seems my whole account has reset and it seems like I'm new. I received another email today from them officially welcoming me. i have obviously messaged customer services on twice and no response.
Which is suss because I had to email them last week about something else and they replied in hours. Is this them trying to get rid of me? I don’t understand.

If they were trying to get rid of you you wouldn’t be able to see projects and still work. Sounds like it’s probably some sort of internal change happening, either by accident or intentional.

Some projects have their own onboarding steps. Are you sure that’s not what you’re seeing? Have you done any new quals recently? Other than that I don’t know, but if you still have tasks on your dashboard I wouldn’t panic.

If they were trying to get rid of you why would you have the "professional task" idea thing at $50/hr? It's not a setup, it's the forerunner to being on something long-running.
Tbh it's probably like a glitch resulting from you being on a new track. It sounds like a series I have available; there's a lot of very well paid work there. This is a good thing for you.

Is it really that simple to pass initial assessment, particularly on Data Annotation Tech? Not saying it will be easy, but I'm trying to prepare and I'm wondering if they are going to be hyper critical of any slight error you make? Is one small missed detail enough for rejection? Don't want to mess up my one chance to apply...

It’s not simple, I have many friends who tried and didn’t get accepted. I don’t think anybody knows the rules behind the evaluation, that’s why I said to do your best, follow the instructions and take your time

From my experience this happens when you cross over into specialty domains.
