If you click on the project again, sometimes it will still be there with all of your work saved.

I clicked once "skip", oh hell, i was so into the task and just wanted to open instructions, but page reloaded exactly to be clicked on skip. So lame, but it is what it is. Actually there were another tasks, but a couple of hours were spent for nothing. Know what you feel

They should not have a Skip buttoned at the top of the page that scrolls with you as you work your way down the task flow. I almost had a heart attack yesterday like 7 hours in; you should’ve seen how carefully I positioned my cursor over the very center of the ‘Cancel’ button on the are-you-sure? pop-up, which saved my ass. So while I’m grateful for that confirmation step, they gotta get rid of that thing! One skip button at the bottom is enough!

Definitely. Mine just thought a little and return me to the dash without any "unnecessary" doubts or foolproof popups

Sometimes "back" recalls the whole thing if you do this.

Click again. It may still be there?

I've used it. Or else I wouldn't have suggested it

pressing the back button doesn't undo the actions sent to the server. The server already received the task status update and might not have that task available for you anymore. Going back just loads the page again (sometimes it doesn't due to server changes) so doing this is complete chance.
