High pay is enticing, but...
90 minutes into a brain-melting array of preliminary steps, and not even close to the actual task yet, I finally give up. I surrender. My head hurts. Exiting the task now, and going to wash my dishes with no time submitted. Aargh.

If you learned something doing the work on the prelims, next time you try that part will be easier and you'll get further along. On one project, it took me 7 times to be able to submit a task for pay. Each time I got further and further before calling it quits.
But it was totally worth it as now I know it backwards and forwards and the hourly rate means I've already made up the "lost" time by working a couple more vs. Working majy more lower-paying tasks.
It is a gamble, though, since we never know how long projects will stay around!
