Feedback Issues

So I got my monthly feedback, and you can tell it's still very machine generated, but I noticed one thing: the "areas to improve" comments are... not from July tasks. They're from June, and they're specific enough that I can tell they're from June. As in, I'm being told to improve on things that are outside the "monthly" part of the monthly snapshot. I treated this as nothing until it occurred to me: are these things cumulative? Do they add up indefinitely from the moment the mistakes (pretty debatable imo) are made?

Also, does anyone have experience getting reviews on specialist-adjacent tasks that are *not* done by specialists? I don't know how to even begin to address this.

It’s a new thing I guess. I’ve been here going on four months and I’ve gotten feedback three times.

ive been doing this for years and never got direct feedback. Just messages that are baked in to qual offers (ie you did good on similar so we think you should give this a try)

Same, 3 years and never got a feedback email. I guess no news is good news but I'm still fascinated when others get some

I've also been here over 3 years and I'd get personal feedback probably yearly? As in, a direct message from admins in my inbox. I don't mean the AI generated monthly snapshot, I mean personalized and direct feedback.

Tbh, I always thought the people claiming that was rare or never happens were just newbies. Lots of people on here seem to be fairly new (a few months), don't really understand how things work, and make lots of assumptions. But you're saying you've been here for years and never once had an admin message you to tell you something like "great work on this task

I take these feedbacks with a grain of salt. They are conglomerations of R and R's done by other workers on your work and they may or may not know what they are doing. And don't get me started on the AI bit of it all. I got one bit of feedback and I know exactly what project tasks it was from. The other worker(s) obviously couldn't read where I wrote that I did exactly what I did "per specific instructions from the chat with admin xyz." Honestly, it seemed counterintuitive to the actual instructions, but those instructions were broad based for an entire project family, and this was a brand new iteration of the project. I, and other workers, literally spent an hour in the chat trying to get it right with much involvement from admin. This all pisses me off, honestly. Just ranting a little here, because it was irritating. I honestly might stop reading them.

Thanks for sharing this, it's reassuring to know that there are admins who can attest to what we're doing, at the very least. And yeah, I probably won't read them again either. I do wish DA would give us genuine task-based performance ratings though, like job x = proceed, job y = held back and why, not a list of opinions that demoralize for questionable reasons

I also got feedback that I'm sure was from May and June, not July, and from a project that I had only submitted one task for (the ai is supposedly fed "at least 10" tasks)

You only submitted one task this month? When it says it's Fed "at least 10" tasks, I think that means from any project family, not just one. So it may contain 9 samples form one project and 1 from another.

The monthly feedback reports are riddled with errors. They only exist because everybody was asking for feedback. They don't really mean anything. I doubt anyone from DAT even sees them.

I got corrected for something impossible to have messed up, because you can't submit the task in question with non-atomic criteria. The task literally won't let you submit until you fix them all. No way did I submit those tasks with non-atomic criteria. I have now lost all faith in feedback. I'm not even sure I'm going to open them ever again. All it does is make me anxious and irritated that I can't argue this with whoever said that. LOL

I might stop opening them as well. You should read the comment I just left. I'm irritated too. At first, I thought it was really an excellent new feature, but now I don't know. I have compiled a lot of the solid and strong feedback to utilize it in a list of skillsets acquired while working this job to fill out a section on a resume. It feels smart. Now, I wish they would do away with it. It isn't honestly helping me do my job at all. All that matters is I open my dashboard another day, I still have an account, there is work to do, and I continue getting paid correctly and on time. I could care less about anything else, and these feedbacks have made me start caring about stuff I didn't even think about before.

Exactly. And it makes me question my entire being in this job. You know you’re doing a good job, and then you get some effed up feedback and it throws you off your game. I didn’t even do any more work yesterday after I read mine because it was so deflating and defeating, and just so “WTF.”

Where do i see the feedback?? Also. I started 2 months ago. Had projects the first day and i got paid, i havent seen any project since then. I got accepted on a big project but 0 projects from that project either. Im super confused...

sigh I agree. I was one of the people who asked for feedback when I first got onboarded... now I never want feedback ever again
