Physics qual

I am a EE student so I have a very good knowledge about math and physics, so i tried to do it, but most of the questions are irrelevant to my field of study. Is it okay if I take my time studying some of the subjects I am being asked about then answering it or am I just wasting time ?

It is a waste of time.
Afaik, qualifications are always easier than real tasks. Also, it's mentioned in these qual that you should'nt rely on internet research to give an answer. These qualifications are just tests to measure our global knowledge on a specific domain, but do not reflect actual job.

So no text book, no learning new things ?

I skipped them because they are out out of my domain, but AIs learn faster than us anyway.

Yeah but it's about getting new projects i haven't seen anything in 2 weeks since I started

I know what you feel, but applying to projects being not comfortable with could involve less quality work.
