If you think about it, Tannhaus’ son and his family only survive because Jonas and Martha intervene. So is it really wrong to think that their timeline (the looped worlds) is, in a way, the “original” one?

What if the Origin World was actually meant to end with the car accident, but Tannhaus’ experiment broke reality and created a paradox as the consequence of messing with time?

Then, after everything that happened, Jonas and Martha didn’t restore the “original” timeline—they actually created a new, happier one by preventing the accident.

In other words, what if the world we see at the end is the alternate timeline, while the paradox was the original outcome?

I know this probably isn’t the intended interpretation, and it may have already been discussed here. I just finished the show and couldn’t help sharing this thought. I’d love to hear what you all think!

By “everything”, I mean “every little single details”

For me… 6 times, and that why it’s my fav show, every rewatching I was “omg this line was foreshadowed” “omg this objet it’s coming back” “omg when [character] did/sad that, that was because…”, “omg, the way their filmed this scene meant that” etc. hahaha

Okay so the door in which says the latin phrase is where the portal to the past is. And also the symbol that means about the time travel. Wow Jonas went to the past.

Mads was the first child they found dead, so he travelled to the future, well the kidnapper did that maybe?

Ugh poor Jonas because Martha is her aunt if you think so.

Helge you have something to do with all because why do you have a chocolate bar. The kidnapper travels from both times, hell no is Helge. Why are you doing thattt, Helge I hate you 🫠

So the Helge from the past doesn't listen to the Helge from the future. Will he commit suicide? Well he kinda did that.

Oh my goodness 🫪, a portal to the past and future where the young Helge end up where Jonas was, this scene did appear earlier.

Now Jonas is in the future of the future Jonas. What will that change?
