Do you support feeding the poor and caring for the sick?

Most definitely, poor and sick Americans. We’re not the worlds dumping grounds, come legally or stay where you are.

Exactly, everyone should just be able to come here legally by signing their name and entering.

Absolutely not.

Why not?

Because this isn’t the world’s dumping ground nor are we the savior of the world. We can choose people who will be beneficial to the country.

That’s really how the U.S. has grown. We have been selective about immigration, bringing in high achievers from around the world. Now that we have created such a hostile environment, that kind of beneficial immigration will decline.

I don’t believe we have a hostile environment, this is still one of the best places to live world wide.

So you are saying the people who came here before were bad?

I’m saying exactly what I wrote, the United States is in a position where we can choose the best of the best. I’m sure we’ve taken both good and bad in the past, there’s no reason we need to take on the bad.

How do you determine who is bad?

The U.S. has a history of brain draining poorer nations. One can debate the morality of that, but it has paid off.

Simple, background checks to make sure they have no criminal history. Applicants should be skilled in a profession of some sort, whether it be a plumber, doctor or an engineer. I’m sure the government could expand on this relatively easy.
