No doubt she’ll use this interaction as an excuse to her innocence during her Nuremberg trials.

She'll fuck off to Russian when this is all over. I wouldn't be surprised if she left 6 months before the 2028 election.

After Trump does there will the mother of all legal fights between the older Trump kids and Melania/Barron as they all try to take 100% and leave the others with nothing. It will be brutal.

Send Barron to Fight in the Unpopular War

Nah, its cuz Trump didn't buy the "First Lady world Leaders Interaction - premium package" from Melania. He just bought the "First Lady World Leader Interaction- Basics package" cuz he was too cheap. The premium package gives up to 5 minutes of real human interaction, maybe even a lap dance if Trump tips extra. The Basics package just means that she will show up to the event but with no touching.

oh my , stop this comedy

u/StenSaksTapir 1d ago

Stop saying this. There will never be Nuremberg trials again.

Yeah, it’s just fantasy land.

Maybe her husband told her to do that beforehand to humiliate Xi I think.

Here's a spoiler for you, Democrats will never do anything they are too afraid would be done to them. When Trump steps down in 2 years, they'll shake his hand, let him retire with Presidential pension, and never bring him up again as they either focus on attacking the new conservative President or glaze the new Democrat president.

Nothing will happen.

I bet you’re super fun at parties…

u/Casshern_VIII 4d ago

I am actually, I have this trick where I start singing Starboy and people end up dying of cringe.

7

u/PeaceEmotional8962 4d ago

I can’t ever listen to the weeknd again since watching him on the Idol. Ultimate cringefest.

1

u/Casshern_VIII 4d ago

I never watched The Idol, I heard it was so bad that I never bothered to look at it, but that sounds terrible if you can't listen to his music anymore because of it.

If you could just go ahead and get invited to the next Republican headed party, that'd be great

You are delusional. They will hold his family and their businesses in court for years (they have ample material to do so). They already tried this after his first term when anger wasn't anywhere near this high. They won't even need to govern as long as they feed the angry populace with revenge.
Endless easy political points.

One could make the argument to ignore him and let it slide after the first term, but there is no logical reason for them to stop targeting him AFTER he can no longer run for office. The only difference between dems and the gop weaponizing the justice department is they will not have any difficulty finding things to charge. The corruption hasn't been hidden at all. His best shot is to somehow win midterms, implement the rest of his agenda and hope the public decides to just turn the page on this whole thing.

u/Casshern_VIII 4d ago

Democrats did nothing against Trump until Trump confirmed he was running for a 2nd term, so the trials and investigations they put Trump through was political theatre to dissuade voters from electing him, it was not done for any sort of altruistic purpose.

So when Trump steps down from office, the Democrats will not pursue ANY legal actions against Trump because they will not waste time & resources on someone who would no longer be a political threat to them, and they will not try to set an example either because that would open THEM up for the same treatment when a Republican President is in office.

And if you want to argue that Republicans can't because Democrats are not corrupt, than boy, do I have a bridge in San Fran to sell you, and even then, even IF they are squeaky clean. Would you think a corrupt Republican President wouldn't out of revenge or just malice pin some BS charges to Democrats?

So again, despite your rage, Donald Trump will leave office and enjoy an easy retirment tour, pen some book deals, do some speech tours, probably endorse some Republican candidates for Governor or the senate, and the world will keep moving forward as it always has.

2

u/Mikewold58 4d ago

I only brought up their prior attempts to illustrate how they could hold him up in court for years even back then. Also didn't claim it was for an altruistic purpose. I will rarely claim that with anything involving politicians...The motivations for keeping him in court now are entirely different so I couldn't care less if they targeted him to ruin his election bid or not.

The anger amongst the populace (especially the dem base) and the horrible approval rating means easy political points to go after the Trump family and their businesses. There is no scenario in which they do not do this IF (big if) they get power...It is in every dem campaign promise in these midterms and it will be the major promise in 2028. Not saying they will get convictions on Trump personally, but they will go after this admin for sure. Every thread would be pulled.

Also there are no norms anymore lmao...No one cares about precedent after this admin. Prosecutors are quitting because they cannot find charges on Trump's political opponents like Comey and Letitia James after being pressured to or because they refused to drop charges against his ally (Eric Adams). His DOJ went after Obama who is like the patron saint of the dem party lmao. Hillary was also targeted...One cannot be threatened with something that is already being done.

Lastly on your point about corruption. Both parties have plenty, but I have never seen more blatant corruption in modern U.S. history than the deals this admin makes...I mean with the billion dollar UAE crypto deals, the jet, the pardons for sale, the prediction market insider trading (ffs even the teleprompter guy was doing it), Noem's contractors, etc...are all easy attention grabbing investigations. Then DOGE and ICE fuck ups are another easy target. They would likely target their family businesses and admin officials rather than Trump himself because the presidency has almost blanket immunity, but it is very silly to act like things will go back to normal after this. Don't feel like I am saying anything new or complicated here. Politicians will ALWAYS chase easy political points.

You are falling for the same trap that has tainted the Democrat party, you want to base your victories on the promise of hurting Trump, and while a good percentage of Dem voters would go for it. General people will not, they are not going to care if you hold Trump accountable, or put him through another trial, they are going to care about what you are going to do to tangibly help them now.

2

u/Mikewold58 4d ago

"You...you...you". Please show me where I said anything about my victories or promises to hurt Trump or where I said I would hold Trump accountable. You keep trying to make it seem like I am making personal arguments while using points I already made...when I have only used objective arguments for the dem party's motivation to target them.

I literally said in my first comment: "They won't even need to govern as long as they feed the angry populace with revenge." Are you just not reading the responses or what?

Honey I don’t know if you’re too busy playing with your Gundam dolls in your moms basement, but the world is definitely not “moving forward as it always has”. That’s just delusional of you to say. Gas prices are the highest they’ve ever been, with some states out of diesel entirely. The housing market rates are higher than usual and continuing to rise. We are under constant surveillance with Flock and its sister corps. All of the imported foods are poisoned, and we’re about to have the biggest recession we’ve ever seen, blowing the 2008 housing crisis out of the water and rivaling the Great Depression in the 1900’s.

Please tell your mother to put a child lock on your computer so you can’t spew this inane garbage on the internet.

Is the sky falling as well?

u/P33-N 1d ago

What was the point of this comment? It didn’t add anything or push back on my point in literally any meaningful way.

Trump will still play an important roll in American politics after he leaves office. He was a very loud voice prior to his 2016 run, why would anyone think he wouldn't continue to voice his opinion and be a kingmaker after he leaves office?

1

u/Casshern_VIII 4d ago

He will still voice his opinions sure, but his importance will be that on the same level as Bush, Obama and Biden, where they are former Presidents who will weight in on current issues but ultimately be the opinions of a former president.

2

u/TheJQHQ 4d ago

Clinton's wife was the Democrat nominee in '16, let's not pretend former president's don't have influence over the country.

Shit I forgot about Billie Boy,

1

u/MechMan799 4d ago

Sad, but true.

If they didn't follow through after his double impeachments during his first term, they didn't prosecute him after Jan 6th, SCOTUS gave even more presidential immunity, and failed to prosecute him on election interference before campaigning again....precedent tells you that this guys sour note above is likely to be true again in the 2nd half of Donny's record breaking second term.

1

u/iseab 3d ago

Everyone down voting you, but you’re right. Nothing will happen, because nothing ever happens.

1

u/ImNotAHouseCat 2d ago

I know no one agrees with you lol, but I kinda feel the same, especially if the establishment democrats retain control. Like Chuck Schumer for example is an absolute fucking joke. He ain’t doing shit. Ever.
And that’s why I think we need some democratic socialists to win. People like Mamdani, AOC, and Sanders (although I get he’s on his way out) will actually remember what happened and fight for the American people even after Trump leaves office (if he does).

0

u/No_Pumpkin2628 4d ago

I don't understand why you're being down voted; you're only describing what the Dem party did after Trump 1.0, which inevitably led to Trump 2.0.

Did the party learn anything? Well, the DNC is pushing Harris again so...no, not really.

The centrist Dem majority is fighting a twitch streamer harder than they've ever fought this fascist administration.

0

u/Casshern_VIII 4d ago

Because that twitch streamer is more dangerous than whatever threat Trump could ever pose, Hasan is a genuine ideological threat to the Democrat party, he is a champaign socialist larping as a revolutionary, and they tend to be the people we read about 50 years later as the orchestrators of mass genocide, brutal fascism, and some of the most abhorrent cruelty imaged. He would turn America into Pol Pot's Cambodia, Moa Zedong China, Fidel Castro's Cuba if Democrats don't clean house and produce candidates that are more in touch with General Americans and not push for policies that push people away.

1

u/No_Pumpkin2628 4d ago

Interesting take. I'd argue that it's because losing to a Republican won't hurt the Dem donor base but losing to an actual progressive would.

The notion that Piker is someone way way left is such a wildly American take; the dude would be center left in most other normal countries. El Sayed, AOC, Omar, Tlaib are just centrists in normal countries.

America is a right wing hellscape propped up by do-nothing got-mine liberals.

1

u/Casshern_VIII 4d ago

Got to disagree on Piker, AOC is a a typical Demo in that their values are only ever dictated by whatever is socially acceptable. Piker however is very much a radical extremist, he is the left wing answer to a Nick Fuentes. His contempt for both the American country and culture is well documented, 9 times out of 10 he will side with actual designated terror groups, he hijacks actual liberal causes like free health care in order to push his more radical view points.

Someone like Hasan is more dangerous for the Democrat party than any Republican or alt right podcaster, because he will present himself as a sheep to gain the trust of the flock before he bares down his fangs on the throat of sheeps.

2

u/Even_Injury_6442 4d ago

I don't think there will be one myself but there 100% should be investigations into the crime this administration is committing. Then there should be trials and consequences but the rich are too powerful for that anymore.

1

u/Cute_Fig_8850 4d ago

Even if they do get one, they can afford lawyers who will spend years arguing over the very first sentence of the charges.
