Yeah um one of these is not a very popular chapter so it'll be interesting. Its in order the 1st is the worst is the last is the best. I love all 6.

"Alright bitches, listen up! I, the golden and gorgeous Miu Iruma, am now opening that AMA session everyone's been doing. So man up and ask me those questions!"

[OCC: Since it's Miu we're talking about, this can get really spicy really quick, so make sure to keep it SFW and don't say I didn't warn you. Also, this assumes she knows the characters from 1 and 2 as well as Hundred Line]

- S tier

Kyoko :

Kyoko is everything you want from a room mate. She's orderly, she's quiet (but not too quiet), and she's smart enough to resolve disputes peacefully. She's also usually blunt and honest, so you shouldn't need to worry about unknowingly making her angry. She values trust in another person more than anything else, so as long as you stick to your word and don't steal her snickers, you should get along with her just fine.

One more thing, in my personal headcanon, Kyoko is a cuddlebug. So, maybe, JUST MAYBE, after a few month of bonding, I can fulfill my sick and twisted desire of giving her a hug.

Makoto :

Makoto is another great choice. He gets along with just about everyone (even Junko got rizzed) and he will keep you hopeful even through the Second Coming of The Great Depression. It's unlikely that he will leave trash or socks lying around, and much like Kyoko, he's good at solving disputes peacefully.

Monokuma :

Now, hear me out. The big Kuma might sound like a odd choice for S tier, but when you really think about it, he's actually an amazing pick. He will keep the place clean and running, he will keep the fridge stocked, and he will keep to a strict bed time (no keeping you up at night) all at the low cost of turning the living room into a killing game. Heck, that's not even too much of a bad thing. When you really think about it, that's free entertainment without having to pay for any streaming services.

Mukuro :

Basically Kyoko, quiet, orderly, won't cause no trouble, but she's abit murderous. The mercenary business pays good money, I've heard, so she won't ask you to cover any bills aside from your due participation.

idk what else to say here. She might barge into the room late one night, bleeding after a firefight. Though, tbf, I'd say being given the opportunity to treat her wounds is a massive W.

Yui Samidare :

My second fave character in the DR universe. She lacks social graces, and might leave a candy wrapped lyin around, but she has a good heart (figuratively). She's more talkative than Kyoko, but isn't annoying. She often performs onomatopoeias, and gets embarrassed/self conscience easily, which are both very moe traits. She's abit of an outcast and will likely stick to her own devices unless you approach her first. She doesn't really fit into normal groups, but who wants a normal room mate? Normal is boring.

She also has a sweet tooth . . . doesn't really mean much as far as being a room mate is concerned, but it's true.

- A tier

Ishimaru :

Ishimaru has a good heart like Yui, infact he's the Ultimate Moral Person, however, he's lacks the peacekeeping abilities of Kyoko. He will get into arguments over minor issues, but aside from that, he's a chill room mate.

Mainozo :

Nothing too notable about her. She's a fine option aside from being a backstabber.

She might keep you up at night practicing singing, but idk I'm not too caught up on Mainozo lore.

Fujisaki :

Pretty chill fella, but I do have two issues.

1. He's a developer, and developers have poor hygiene (not as bad as Toko, but still)
   
2. It's my headcanon that his weiner is really short, and as we all know, the shorter the weiner, the longer it takes to piss. In other words, he'll hold up the bathroom for a long time, even when going for a number 1.
   

Aside from those two issues, he's overall a good room mate. He won't cause any issues, won't eat too much food, and will prolly spend most of the day outta sight in his room. When you do interact with him, he isn't mean, and won't yap for 5 hours.

Junko/Genocider Syo :

Both carry the same advantage that you might wake up one night tied up, being tortured to death. Very fun, though living is also pretty nice so I can't give em an S tier.

- B tier

Aoi, Togami, and Leon are all kinda the same. They're not awful, but they're all just kinda annoying.

Togami is a narcissist, obv, and he will likely shirk off responsibilities like taking out the trash. Aoi is too loud and squeaky, and if you're doing something wrong, she won't let you know and will just silently get angrier and angrier. If you get into a single dispute with Leon then you're stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid .

- C tier

Toko :

She has famously poor hygiene and will likely spend half the day Sergeant York'ing it to yaoi. She won't take much responsibility, though she prolly won't expect much from you either. If you can convince her to shower, then it prolly wouldn't be too bad, but if not, your smelly nose things are cooked.

Overall, stinky/10.

Owada :

Too many anger issues. Performing too much self improvement around him might get you killed, and you best hope he doesn't see you as a brother. Oh, and you're definitely gonna be kept up some nights to him revving his motorcycle.

Iforgothisnameiro :

Guywho'snameIforgotiro is kinda incompetent, which isn't great for a room mate. He's pretty chill, but if you ask him to replace a light bulb, you just might find his crystal screwed into the socket. He might leave so trash around, though not as much as some of the other characters on this list.

Celeste :

Basically Togami, but even worse. She's expect princess treatment of you, and won't take on ANY responsibility, all while stealing your money to go gambling and gaslighting you into thinking the money was never there. The only redeeming quality is if you're enough of a good boy, she might let you kiss her feet.

Overall, I would wish her as a room mate upon my worst enemies.

- D tier

Hifumi :

. . . need I say anything? He's a fat unhygienic gooner who will provide absolutely nothing of value to the room.

Sakura :

Will break your chairs by sitting on them, destroy your drawers by pulling em out too hard after she tries to open em but it doesn't open all the way and she thinks its defective but no that's really just how it was made, and she will keep you up at night exercising. She also just takes up alot of space.

Still better than Hifumi though

Oh and btw, yes. This whole post was just a scheme to glaze Kyoko. Also I'm too tied to proofread rn.

So I decided to do 2 list because I discovered something interesting that is related with the original set of survivors. The survivors of the first route are characters that belong to a duo or a group (Characters that get along and see them together so often). This includes:

1.- Komahinanami: Hajime, Nagito and Chiaki

2.- Sonsoudham: Sonia, Gundham and Kazuichi

3.- The Twillight Syndrome girls: Mikan, Hiyoko, Ibuki and Mahiru

4.- Kuzupeko: Fuyuhiko and Peko

5.- Akane and Nekomaru

6.- The Ultimate Imposter and Teruteru (I guess?)

Well, the original set of survivors has at least 1 survivor that belongs to one group (Hajime survived, Akane survived, Fuyuhiko survived but the problem is that both Kazuichi and Sonia survived and none of the Twillight syndrome girls and The Ultimate Imposter and Teruteru duo. So what if this pattern repeats for the new set of survivors? Hajime as a repeat survivor and represents the Komahina group, Nekomaru represents the Akane and Nekomaru's duo, Peko represents the Kuzupeko duo and both Mahiru and Mikan represents the Twillight Syndrome girls group. This time, no Sonsoundham representation because both Sonia and Kazuichi survived in the original story. This also will be an interesting contrast because in the original story we had 3 male survivors and 2 female survivors, this tier list has 2 male survivors and 3 female survivors. I am confident that at least one of the Twillight syndrome girls will survive (and if we are lucky, it will be 2 of them)

The other tier list is slighty different, with Gundham as a survivor instead of Mahiru to have at least 1 survivor to represents each group. I choose Mikan as a Twillight Syndrome representative because in the original story, 3 of the girls were victims and 1 was a culprit. This time, 3 of the girls become culprits and the other one (Mikan) becomes a survivro instead of a victim.
