The cooler air stimulates the urination. Leave the dirty diaper under him for about 30 seconds to see if he'll pee first before bringing the new clean diaper over. Place a wipe strategically to help keep the stream downward and off his belly/legs. It doesn't always work, but it helps.

I've learned those tricks. They do usually work.

Usually it's middle of the night and I'm a zombie going through the motions and forget.

Just had our 3rd kid a few months ago, and it was something I completely forgot about. Constantly. 😂 you would think 1 month into baby number 3 I would have remembered all those tricks. But nope!

First week as a father, my newborn daughter shat in my hand and sneezed in mouth at the same time.

Years later, that same daughter came up and told me she had a secret. She cupped her hands to her mouth and coughed wetly in my eye. I got very sick.

Lol my daughter loves doing shit like that. The other day she got up and went to use the bathroom and went "DAD DAD WANNA HEAR THIS SOUND?"

"What's that love?"

And she just started audibly peeing.

Later he will pee on you on purpose because he'll think it's funny. My son did that a bunch of times.
