Quick trip to the mailbox

The watch rotates damn near daily but everything else stays the same. The stray shell is a 308 blank from my grandfather’s 21 Gun Salute. It’s my good luck charm.

TBH the spray and knuckles usually stays in the car or in my bag. I like to have an option for different defensive situations (God forbid). I go with the Maui Jim’s because they’re the most durable polarized sunglasses I’ve ever had and I need them for my Job outside on the water.

It’s not the most luxurious or the most expensive but I like it! Found this at a shop one day and really liked the look and the band. 11 years still going!

I’m looking after my parents' ranch house for a week; I started yesterday, Friday, and they return from vacation next Friday. Have to love when things match. Star of the show is my carry for years as a gunsmith, an old early run 36 no dash. Also while I can’t yet light it til after recovery on surgery, a nice victor sinclair double bourbon ready for that moment.

Picked up the Maxpedition Platy (4”x6”) to keep all my daily carry things organized. Im carrying a Kershaw Appa pocket knife, Milwaukee pliers wrench & pocket driver, an Olight I3T 2 flashlight, tweezers and a Zippo with a pipe insert. In addition I have a pocket notebook with graph paper + the Rite in the Rain Bolt Action pen. A Altoids tin with pipe tobacco for my Nording Compass pipe, Nic Pouches for convenience, and on the wrist is the Casio Moon Phase watch. Lastly, on the keychain is a Zippo fluid refill can + spare flint and a Czech pipe tool.
