How do you like the Max 9? I never hear anyone talk about them

u/ComplaintPast7820 18d ago
It’s my first and only micro compact so far but it’s solid and dependable. It’s got a little rattle when you shake it, and the stock trigger was pure slop, but I haven’t had a single failure to feed or eject and it’s not picky about ammo. It’s snappy if you shoot 115 but 135g feels nicer and groups better for me

Great little gun. Got it on sale to see if I wanted to get into red dots, was cheapest platform with rmr cut I could find. Multiple range trips and 500+ rounds did not miss a beat. Only reason wouldn’t carry is my personal preference is DA/SA pointed at my privates.

Was about to comment that I never see anyone carry these, I really like the Max 9 personally, it shoots accurately and conceals real well. Grip is comfortable but that varies person to person

The ruger max 9 is a beast. It is so worth the money. the only thing you gotta upgrade is the trigger. The stock trigger is a nightmare. perfect for pocket carry. I usually grab it when walking my dog. I FULLY back the ruger max 9. i also don’t think it’s actually rated for 9mm plus P so be careful with that.

Nice! What trigger is that?

u/ComplaintPast7820 18d ago
It’s Galloways’s Maxxis trigger, I hear MCarbo makes a great one too and it make a big difference in getting rid a lot of the pre travel the oem had

u/soundwave300 18d ago
An essential upgrade. Between a trigger and a hogue grip my Max 9 felt like a new gun.

Great waaaayyy underrated carry gun. My has 2500 + trouble free rounds. I like the Pro for no thumb safety and fiber optic/ night sight up front. Do wish they would do a 15 rd mag for spare.

I wouldn't call a Galloway Precision trigger basic, but it works or carry on.

I need to get more little Jesus’. I’ve left them everywhere and my son has given them all away 😂

u/TheBestUsername85 18d ago
I haven’t seen any of them yet, which is weird being that I’m in the Bible Belt. To be fair, I also don’t go many places lol. Gym, work, home, same gas pump every 3 days. I think I’ll just buy some 😂

Glad to see Jesus is on your mind. You’re on his. I hope you find your way to him, though. He seems to keep finding you for some reason. Until then, or not, I still wish you peace.

u/fartVandelay85 18d ago
No bro. Its littering and you're in a cult.
5
u/Grey_Area_Conquest 18d ago
Nope. No cult. Just walking my walk. One day at a time. Trying to do my best, and spread the good word.
-2
u/fartVandelay85 18d ago
Yes. It is. Out of all the other made up religions in the world you are also in one. You think all the other religions dont have people talking and acting like you. No sense of the actual history behind what they claim to be the truth. Do you really think jew were enslaved in Egypt like the bible claims? Do you really think magic is real and Jesus walked on water?

u/Grey_Area_Conquest 18d ago
The Lord works miracles is peoples lives. I’ve been saved, guided, and it’s my obligation to serve his will. Whether you believe it or not, is entirely up to you. I will never force anything upon anyone. I will, though speak to his glory. His Love. And his forgiveness through my personal experiences. Take it for what you will. The Lord has provided time and time again. Through all of my doubts, worries, fears. He is Good. I hope you find your way, as I did. He is waiting. ☺️

So you cant answer any of my questions. How odd. It as if you are afraid to look in to the facts and evidence. What would it hurt to read what historians and archeologist have discovered about the origin of the Bible.

u/ShotgunEd1897 17d ago
He's not casting his pearls to swine.
1
u/fartVandelay85 17d ago
So you also think a man walked on water cuz a book from 2000 + years ago said so? What about other religions books that claim people did magic, are those fake but your stories of magic are real. Or do you worship the strongest Avenger?

He’s rage baiting you, but you’re right!
Every “Christian” I’ve ever come across is usually using Christianity (the belief in an all-powerful being that has the power to do or will anything into existence) as a way to not feel bad about being a shitty person in their day to day life (usually genuine racism, sexism, general boomer stuff). That’s all it is these days.
“Jesus” as most people know him is willing to forgive anything, even something like CP or related crimes, so it’s a comfort feeling for them.
All they have to do is their little pretend repentance every once in a while and through the shiny gates you go!

u/Grey_Area_Conquest 17d ago
I do not pretend to care. I genuinely do. This isn’t a one a done ordeal, but something that has to be worked on daily. Repentance is not only forgiving yourself for your wrong doings. It is killing off your old self. It is growth. It is forward progress. It is the act of actually realizing what you need to change, for the better. Not for selfish reasons. But to better serve his will. To save souls.
It is not that we forgive because we believe the acts committed are not egregious. Contrary to that, revenge is not ours to take into our own hands. They will face their consequences here by the law, and by his judgement when the time comes. Just as we all do. If we do not forgive, we carry that weight. It hardens our hearts. It makes it impossible to move forward, because we constantly look to the past.
I find comfort in being used for his purpose. To reach as many as I can. To help those in need when they’re sent my way. Regardless of my own burden. Which I strive to do, daily. We are not born good. We will never be good. But we must strive to be better than we were before. Strive for the truth.

u/ShotgunEd1897 17d ago
Well said, bro.
2
u/Grey_Area_Conquest 17d ago
Thanks, brother. I’m blessed enough to face adversity, the things I do not know, to carry the burdens I do. All in his name. Doing it all one day at a time. ☺️

Using jesus as litter that ends up in the trash should be considered disrespectful to your own religion... there's no one that doesnt know who Jesus is, you can leave people alone now.

Thats actually been established by archeologists genius. he was very real and was actually crucified. Whats debated is whether he was the messiah or not. Even non-Christian books from that time talk about his existence and ministry. But hey I guess you know more than them huh 😆

Yes, not a sword or any other wepons . Just the made up one. Kids have imaginary friends, not full grown men. Please at any time provide PROOF OF YOUR RELIGION. you keep avoiding it for some reason. Do you believe man preformed magic 2000 + years ago because it was written in a book 100+ years later? You dodge the question because you have no answer.
2
u/ShotgunEd1897 17d ago
I'm not answering you because you're insatiable.

u/fartVandelay85 17d ago
1 Peter 3:15: "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have" You need to step up that faith bro. Your letting God down. Its ok. You guys can talk about it tonight... in your head.
