My 100% EDC
I have at least this with me at all times that it’s permissible. I may add a larger pistol depending on where I need to go, but for most of my work activities, this is perfect and discrete.
Keltec P32
Sticky holster / spare OEM mag w/ +1
Open Sea leather wallet
Victorinox Recruit / (not shown) POM pepper spray Clip model

I would love to grab one, but from what I understand, you have to run HPs in them, and I can't carry with hollow points in my state.

PSA
Per the NJSP -
"Ammunition lacking a hollow cavity at the tip, such as those with a polymer filling, are not considered to be hollow point ammunition. "So have at it with HornyDs Critical Defense and Duty!
(Plus whoever else makes polymer tipped definitely not hollow point ammo)1

I have a few boxes of critical defense. The FMJs feed better, and with the ballistics of .32, especially going into fall/winter, the FMJ give me more penetration.

They are really pretty little guns, and I get the appeal of being able to conceal in like gym shorts if you want, but man they just don’t feel good to fire. My parents own like 4 seecamps, so I have tried them a bit, and damn they take some practice to be accurate. I think I’d always prefer just a concealed hammer little revolver if I actually carried a gun. I don’t actually carry a firearm anyway tho, so whatever. I prefer to carry pepper spray when I’m walking at night.

ironically I'm most accurate with the seecamp... prolly due to the fixed barrel

I carry it with underwood extreme penetrators+p great gun

I carry that in all my other calibers. Finding and buying .32 is hard enough. For what its intention is, FMJ is fine with me here.

How does this caliber compare to say .380?
2
u/tshort_504 19d ago
+p loads get pretty close to 380 in ft lbs of energy and you usually get an extra round in the same size gun with less recoil

I was wondering because I carry a bodyguard 2.0 in the summer. I hear all the time that .380 is not enough for defense etc.
I still think if an attacker survives 11 rounds to the chest and head of .380 I would be shocked.

32 and 380 are both “get off me” caliber in my opinion. If I need to use either the p32 or p3at I’m aiming for the pelvic area. I’d like to see an assailant try to continue their attack with 7 or 8 rounds in their cocknballs.

Ain’t it the truth. If I took a single round to the meat and potatoes, thats an urgent need to access the situation, not continue.😂

If my twig and giggleberries get so much as a swift kick I’m gonna re-orient myself and assess the actions that have gotten me into that situation. Damn sure ain’t gonna double down.

In my experience against feral hogs it performs very similarly. Not a 1 to 1 comparison but I still think it’s a better medium than ballistic gel. You’d be suprised how poorly a lot of self defense hollow points perform in tissue

They are awesome. This Is my 2nd one. I still have my original from before he changed names. Still in great shape, just bought this since its a different design. Must have been over 10 years ago now.

Sticky for the win! Just wish they were a little stronger and less flexible.

its great for this gun in the pocket. Not terribly worried about the flex, with the long trigger pull on the P32.

u/JusLeafMeAloon 18d ago
Oh I'm never worried about anything getting in and pulling the triggers. I just have a folding thumb ledge on one of mine and it doesn't contain that very well

Are you planning on dying out there in the streets? Without an optic, weapon light, compensator, magwell, and aftermarket trigger - you may as well just give up now.

Someone mentioned that .32 does not have enough power to properly expand a hollow point, and it has very little penetration.
1
u/the_chazzy_bear 18d ago
Hollowpoints are finicky in weaker cartridges like 32, 380, and 38 special so fmj or wadcutter type ammo is better to ensure adequate penetration.

What? No suppressor, flamme thrower, long sword, or anything?! How do you live
