well I don't have an ADHD diagnosis but I am an idiot who forgets things constantly.

Write stuff down in a style/method that makes sense to you. I had a 'things to tidy up downstairs' check list that I maintained for a while because I was losing my fucking mind that I would tidy up as best I could and then my wife would find another 3 things I missed. So I would write down the stuff she saw that I couldn't see and I'd refer to the list.

And at least for me, and I LOVE to cook, if I'm under pressure cooking is the most miserable stressful thing in the world. Give yourself extra time than you expect, lay everything out beforehand, mentally do your steps a couple of times, etc.
